Picked up a gift for my niece at CT. A curli girl. Paid under $5 for it. Amazon showed silly prices of $60! Wondering if I should go back and buy the other 2. One was a "birthday girl" Think I will grab it for her birthday next summer.

It's a toughie isn't it @Angela273
Four of us have winter/Christmas month or just after birthdays while the 5th one, a one lone wolf, decided she needed her own special month of September! I also have NO idea what to get anyone.....again.
Good luck with your lovely young gang!!

Less is more for us. I am done with just buying "stuff" For Kids- A few gifts to open (basically needs) and some cash - ( they are at the stage where they buy their own things so cash is always welcomed) I will always buy them socks and undies and clothing They both like that and I do a pretty good job on getting what they each like. I also do stocking/Christmas bag and wrap everything and none of it is junk. I just shop smart all year picking up stuff I know they like. (all useful/consumables)
Niece- and my Niece's daughter. Aged 8 and 1. Toys, PJ's/Clothing outfit and a piggy bank with money This is my go to. I pick up toys and clothing as I find the deals. I need to get rolling on these 2. That will be my mission over the next 2 weeks (they both have June Birthdays so I always pick up summer clearance for the next year for that )
Grandma- Last year I wrapped a few simple gifts (things she would use up... not "stuff") Jam assortment, body wash etc.
And then in a card I put Cash and said I would take her to the casino for breakfast and she could double it. And she did!!!
Thinking I am doing the same thing this Christmas!Last edited by Frugalbigmama; Tue, Aug 16th, 2022 at 12:08 PM.
