For anyone interested in the status of this... I just got a confirmation email from the "Claims Administrator" that my payment will be issued shortly.
Interac e-transfer will be issued to the matching email address. Here's the context of the email:

It was post scripted with a link to change the email address if required, which I presume is a customized link for each recipient.
EDIT: I received my e-Transfer deposit the next day.
I also received a confirmation email that the funds will be etransfered :)
