Is Soda stream worth it?

I'm thinking of buying the Fizz model of Soda stream that is currently being discontinued/on sale. Has anyone else bought and used this model or any Soda stream product?

Any info greatly appreciated.

I so loved my soda stream that I bought a fridge with a built in unit. I was doing a kitchen reno at the time but I use the sparkling water constantly. Water is my only drink other than wine and coffee so for me it was worth the investment. My brother has one and he will do 3 or 4 bottles at a time and it does last. So much better than buying the sparkling water in cans or bottles.

@lilo0003 which model did you have? I'm thinking of the basic Fuzzi that Canadian Tire has on for $69.99 (25X points loaded) and one year over the counter exchange.

We had an older model but it lasted ages and I live exchanging the cartridges at CT.

Right now in Ontario, Canadian Tire is reducing old models. I managed to get a Sodastream Fizz for $59.93 plus I had some Canadian Tire money, so with taxes I paid $30.31 I just hope it works and I like it Lol.
