This is a joke as many NN products have been creeping and jumping in price the past 3-4 months so locking in the higher price and calling it a win for the consumer is garbage on Loblaws' part!

So they're freezing prices... are they freezing shrinking product sizes too?

And don’t forget they put less in the package so not a win for the consumer.

To offset the price-freeze on NoName branded products, Loblaws will increase the price on non NoName products.

It looks like Galen Weston is out of touch with what customers want, and what customers can afford. Wish he woulda asked the customers before sending the email. He may have gotten answer that would get people to the grocery stores rather than got them angry.

    I think Galen W should
    - bring back the bonus PC Optimum points, double or triple points, with each week's flyers, from now until January 31, when you buy eggs, milk, or butter

    - have a great grocery sale for Black Friday--like
    a) fill a bag with bagels for $1. Some have gotten 12 bagels in a bag

    b) have a different President's Choice product on for a ridiculous sale price each week, from now until January 31
    i) like PC lasagna, 1 kg, $3.99, instead of $11.99, limit 2
ii) like PC ice cream, 500 ml for $0.99, limit 2
iii) like bag of local apples for $1.99 (4 lbs), limit 2

    c) have a different PC Organics product on for a ridiculous price each week, from now until January 31
    i) like PC Organics oatmeal, 900 g, $1.99, instead of $4.99
ii) like PC Organics tea, 1 box, $0.99, instead of $3.99
iii) like PC Organics frozen fruit or frozen vegetables for $0.99 instead of $5.99

    Are you listening Galen W?!?!

    Indeed!
Noticed that yesterday at a No Frills! And it was not newly acquired stock either. Same stock display from weeks before. Cannot tell me that cost went up suddenly!

Just saw PC honey mustard for $0.94, expiring March 2023. One shelf down, the No Name mustard was 'frozen' at $2.49

I just happen to be in No Frills on Wednesday grabbing potatoes and I have been looking at the No Name Prices. I was back at No Frills last night (flyer change) to grab this week's deals and noticed prices on No Name products have gone up. On Wednesday there was no indication that any of these products were on sale:

Naturally Imperfect Cucumbers was $4.50 now $5.00
Naturally Imperfect Potatoes was $5.00 now $6.00
Naturally Imperfect Carrots was $2.50 now $3.00
No Name Vegetable Oil was $8.99 now $9.99
