I went to the gym and power walked the track for 50 mins. Too many people showed up so I had to be happy with that.
Came home and went to the freezer. Took out a roast beef for the slow cooker tomorrow.
I also took out a bag of shrimp and a few BLSL chicken breasts.
I put on a pot of rice. Now I am going to grab the bag of frozen veggies.
Also made a coleslaw.
Now to cook all the food and prep some meals for the next few days

Flat grey day with some Ms Sunshine spells! Afternoon called for using both of my last two chai latte cups, one after the other.
AM was laundry time (heck with TOU rates, I wanted loads done) and recycling paper time.
REad the PC Insider's Report last night- PC Ready Veggie Carrot Parsnip & Beet Fries sound good! Wish I knew how to make that at home without major beet colour issues. I have shared how I tried parboiling sweet potatoes then oven baking them (fry form) and results were half-baked literally. Noticed a PC Tea Lover's Advent calendar too (will post link in the Advent Calendar deal thread).

Random a-ha moment: when I was cleaning a sticky spot on kitchen floor a little while ago and then pulled out the oven storage drawer to clean its edges, I saw the fryer basket that goes with the convection toaster oven! So all I need are root veggies (we have carrots but I still need parsnips and sweet potatoes or beets), a recipe and I can go to town trying out fries. Came across a recipe that uses a similiar mix of root veggies as in that PC frozen veggie product.
I have shredded my Monopoly game card today, even when I realized my Baffin Island piece would be 2nd of 3 properties needed for that $5K Visa prepaid card. Chances of me finding the Confederation Bridge piece are 0%. I will update as to how many major prizes are yet unclaimed in the game. Nov.30 is the last day to claim food prizes or enter codes on game site.
Tonight's project is cutting out strips of paper from the assorted magazine pages with holiday prints or images and making paper chains.Last edited by Ciel21; Mon, Nov 14th, 2022 at 05:27 PM.

Good Morning,
Was up early and started my day. Already knocked a few things off the work to-do list.
I took 15 minutes last night and updated the work to-do list. I am really trying to stay focused this week and knock things out.
I started working on my Christmas Plan last night. I think I am going to scale back this year, not as many people are coming to Christmas, I have less time to prep for Christmas, and honestly, I just do not want the stress. I usually plan so much that leading up to Christmas I am freaking out trying to get everything done. Last year I think I had 2 plated Desserts, 5 Cookies, and 3 snack items, I was pretty much baking morning to night to get it done once we went on Shut Down.
This year, I am thinking of just one plated dessert, I have picked, it is the Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake. Then 2 cookies which I still need to decide on and some mixed nuts.
Plus, I will be giving some of my co-worker's crochet baskets with cookies in them. I am going to make Lemon Slice-and-Bake Cookies and Cinnamon Cookie Sticks. I already have 6 baskets made, need to make a few more but I ran out of yarn, will need to grab more yarn. Plus I picked these cookies as I can make the dough ahead of time and just bake it off.
It is nice to have a plan and a reasonable plan, hopefully, one that will not stress me out. Although I am considering adding homemade doughnuts for everyone to take home with them for breakfast the next morning. I am a sucker for punishment, what can I say. I always feel like I am not doing enough. Ugh, sometimes I am my own worst enemy.
Happy Tuesday2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Morning! No sunshine to start the day. It feels like winter.
We all left the house with a packed lunch. I didn't put the roast in the slow cooker since no one would be home.
I put it in the fridge and will just get it ready for the over when I get home from work. (I will be home early today)
Looked over the upcoming flyers posted. Some not bad deals.
I see frozen veggies for $2 at Loblaws. I should grab some. Will pull out what I have and then make a list of what I should stock up on.
Have a great day everyone.

Ran to No Frills to grab a few things right when they opened. I was there, got what I needed and was back home in 15 minutes.
There are all sorts of signs all over produce about the lettuce shortage, they are limiting two lettuces per transaction. There was no iceberg which is on sale for $2.49, they had the 2-packs of Romaine Hearts for $4.99, Romaine was $4.49, and Organic Romaine Hearts 3-pack was $7.99, red leaf lettuce was $2.99. I found a Boston Lettuce for $1.99 which I grabbed, we won't make Salads but will use it for sandwiches and wraps.
They finally had Russet Potatoes again. Actually, they had them last time but did not have the Market Fresh ones which I have a personal offer for. This time they had the Market Fresh so I grabbed 2 bags and got them for $2.99 with my personal offer. I hear a batch of Potato Soup calling me.
I got:
1 x Naturally Imperfect Mushrooms 680g $4
1 x Boston Lettuce $1.99
2 x Apple Sauce $2.00
2 x Russet Potatoes $2.99 (personal offer)
They still had no chai tea, grrr, actually the tea section was sad, barely anything on the shelves.
I saw the applesauce when I was looking for the tea. They were on sale and grabbed two for baking, thinking maybe instead of doughnuts I will make Applesauce Muffins for everyone to take home for Breakfast.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Yes, a grey day. Powder snow was sifting down while I was out collecting the containers and putting more trash into the garbage can. Not going to bag leaves--Bro asked why I did not yesterday and I said he's free to do it. My core is really getting worse and I'm not keen on the cold. Still have to go to the bank to see what happened with the refund situation but I just am not feeling ready to do that.
Went over the flyer previews. Think it's been about 2-3 months since ON Shoppers flyer had eggs on weekend deal? Loblaws and RCSS have some serious PC Opt offers for anyone wanting to spend $$$ this week when next flyers are active on Thursday.
Metro (ON)seems to have Beatrice milk or at least the chocolate milk on sale on Thursday. Check 2L containers for any coupons! @eataiag spotted three on the milk carton purchased recently. Noticed mention of Mandalorian (@walkonby )or Minion Advent calendars for $2.99!
@SassyAshley Michaels has some yarn deal in the next flyer! Current flyer ending Nov 17 show 4 yarn varieties on sale now (selected varieties).
Now that I'm out of chai latte K-cups, I'm eyeing pop deals in flyers. The prices are mostly too high but PC pop (case)is listed at $3.99 for Thursday at RCSS. Can hope that Fortinos offers similar pricing.Last edited by Ciel21; Tue, Nov 15th, 2022 at 02:14 PM.

Same Keurig milk frother that is $44 and change in upcoming grocery flyer is $79.99 at Bed Bath and Beyond.
Looking at UGG blankets with heating pads (BBB)-the one I remember from a flyer does not have good reviews on the heating part (too low or hard to get to work well). Price is down to $149.99 (two colours, limited qty at Stoney Creek ON store) but it does have a spend $150 get $25 gift card banner on it. UGG items are exempt from coupons there, so it might be a good deal for someone. Other UGG blankets are similarly bannered.
Time for a cup of tea and a trek to get the recycling box from the curb. Talk to all of you tonight! Cheers."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Good earlier evening everyone !!!
Upcoming night announce our first 15 cm of snow...Really enjoying to already have my winter coat, scarf and gloves and toque....but brrr.... Hopefully it will melt right away, but much normal temperature for this time of the year....
Today was a worse day of my life....
Anxiety, crisis of panicking and difficulty to go and be with others persons aka socialisation..... I am just not good with people...
My 2 arms are again really red ,itchy and dry...i put hydrocortison because of the pain but it dont goes away!!
So I ended up eating alone at pick nick table outside,it was not to cold fortunatly.
I contacted via email and school network psychoeducatrist of the school and my financial consellor at school for help and appointement about that. I will see the first tomorrow and the other friday.
So...my cold and flu are almost over yay for that at least !!!
And dad eyes drops will be now for the rest of remaining time just 2 time a day not 4 time like before...so morning and evening..much more reasonnable and able to do it
I am way behind my schedule for my book ......suppose to be finished by friday morning and I still have 70 pages to do....I dont know how to manage that... causing me stress and nausea..
I missed the bus because it is to short by the time I finish to take it...grr...waiting 30 more minutes...and it was a zoo of people..I dont like that
Compared to the new school the other place was a daycare hahah
Not the time to chase as much the deals I want...that deceive me...and the lack of time...dont start me on that
Alright have a good evening and night
Really hope tomorrow will go betterLast edited by cath007; Tue, Nov 15th, 2022 at 07:36 PM.

Hugs on your rough day, @cath007 ! Hope you have a warm beverage with you while you read some of those book pages tonight! Right now I'm of the opinion that Starbucks deserves every cent of the price of their chai lattes because I can't stop thinking of their cafe beverages.
Agree it's good to have winter weather gear on hand for the colder days. CBC News forecaster and one on WeatherStation streaming station both mentioned how Lake Erie will be making lake-enhanced/effect snow for northeastern Ohio along shoreline up to Buffalo, NY on Thursday. Buffalo could see 100cm of snow!
While I am ok with letting the leaves park under the snow, my brother might have different ideas. Will see how the weather looks tomorrow afternoon and decide whether to bag leaves or ignore them until next Monday. Yes, I know the weekend is going to be colder..."This is the Way." The Mandalorian
