Sometimes you don't want to cook a holiday meal for __________ reason(s). How about ordering a holiday meal in or taking a night off of cooking but you still want to eat at home?

Longos.com (online ordering begins Nov.29) for ONTARIO. Be sure to order by Dec 18 (but note once meals sell out online, you are out of luck-so don't wait too long).

Starting Nov. 22, you can order at the in-store Guest Services Counter or by phone (note, there will likely be a service charge for this service-think it's $7 but it might be more) one of three following feasts:

A Feast for Two (serves 2-4)-turkey breast, gravy and your choice of 2 entree sides. $69.99. Price goes up Dec. 5 to $74.99. Earn 500 TYR points.

Porchetta Feast (serves 3-5)-fully cooked roasted porchetta, Longo's Curato Crushed Hot Chili Pepper Spread, and your choice of 3 entree sides. $79.99. Price goes up to $84.99 on Dec 5. Earn 750 TYR points.

Turkey Feast (serves 6-8)-fully roasted turkey, gravy for turkey, cranberry sauce, and your choice of 3 family-size sides. $149.99. Prices goes up to $159.99 on Dec. 5. Earn 1000 TYR points.

Beyond festive meals, you can also order catering online
or take-out hot foods while the Kitchen is open (shorter hours than store hours). The back cover of the new Holiday Experience magazine lists a family holiday meal deal for $22.99* (Thank You Rewards members) that includes a free Longo's Panettone*(you must have your TYR card scanned to get the dessert) with the purchase of a rotisserie chicken & two entree-size sides. Offer ends Dec. 26 or while supplies last.

Farm Boy™ Indulgence Dinner for Two - Seasons Eatings! - Farm Boy Order by Nov 30 and pick up on Dec 2 at your store. $79.99 before any taxes.

In-store, select Farm Boy locations offer a hot bar-you can eat in-store or take-out during hot bar hours of operations (not the same as store hours!)

Time's running out on holiday meal orders at the above stores!

Longos and Fortinos both sold Festive Turkey Pies for Thanksgiving in-store-check to see if your local store has them for $19.99 or so. Could be a good option for 1-2 persons or someone wanting a taste of holiday meal with almost no effort (open, heat, serve).
