    Good Morning Everyone,
Ugh, woke up with a headache today. I think it is the weather plus, I got a new pillow and I do not think it is going to work for me.

We did not get as much snow as they were calling for last night but it is snowing again. I think we have enough and it can stop LOL.

Good News, today is the last day of pre-inventory mysteries but the Bad News, Monday will be post-inventory mysteries LOL. But next week is a 4-day work week, because Thursday is our last day before Shut Down.

I am thinking about making a One Bowl Apple Cake to use up some of the apples I have. As well I have some blueberries to use up so thinking some Blueberry Muffins are going on the to-do list.

I am feeling a little overwhelmed today, just feel like I have so much to get done and not enough time to get it all done. All I can do is focus and try to get as much done as I can.

    Happy Friday

Check with the charity. My foodbank will accept food items 1 yr past the Best Before date. Sadly, I saw someone (generously) donate an entire frozen turkey into the dry food collection bin. It will be thrown away, because of food safety concerns. The collectors simply cannot know how long it has been laying out there, growing bacteria. What a shame.

We did not get as much snow as they were calling for which is a good thing because it is that heavy wet snow.

Shovelling is done and cars cleaned off as I did not want that wet stuff to freeze.

Had to run over to work to upload something for them. Cornered Dad got an answer so I could clear up an issue. Now to clean up all the mysteries before day-end.

I stopped at No Frills on my way home and grabbed:
3 x Classico Roasted Portobello Mushroom Sauce $1.97 (PM Wal-Mart)
    1 x Alfredo $1.97 (PM Wal-Mart)

Used the rest of my gift card, so out-of-pocket was just over $5.

Might go once more and grab a few more, my store had a Price Match Limit of 4. For that price, I do not think we will see that price again anytime soon.

Rescued 6x boxes of chocolates from the dump. They were all wrapped prettily, probably as back-up Xmas gifts, and then forgotten. They are best before 2014. Oh, well. Still better off in my stomach than in the dump.

I had my favourite coworker to dinner tonight, my family loves her as much as I do and we can sit and chat with no pressure and dinner was made by my son.
Tomorrow I need to go to pick the younger son up from school so may stop at No Frills on my way because I did a quick run into RCSS and almost died at some of the prices. Broccoli is 5.00. That’s going to all end up in the dump because who can afford that. I did buy some of the frozen veg that’s on for 1.99 and may go back for more. I also used 70.00 in PCO which totally helps.

We survived the last 5 day school week before Christmas break. I helped ny students with the Christmas concert practices and performance this week. I go home in 4 days. Still lots to do and unfortunately I know that I’ll be taking work with me…I’ll still be home for 2wks, which we’re all looking forward to. My husband just started his holidays and won’t go back to work until late December.
