    Good Morning Everyone,
I feel like I got things back on track yesterday. Was able to knock out a bunch of work things and at least feel like my head is above water.

I need to get better at getting house things done on the days I go into branches. Even though I am working when the branches rarely am I doing my own work so when I get back home, I am in catch-up mode and do not take breaks to get the house stuff done.

Last night's dinner was Egg Roll in a Bowl, I love this dish but find it labour-intensive to chop up all the veggies. This time, I chopped up all of the veggies except the mushrooms (I do not like pre-prepped mushrooms) so last night I just needed to chop the mushrooms and make the sauce and rice (I could have pre-prepped the rice, but I didn't). Made this dish come together so quickly and I only spent just over an hour prepping all the veggies for the week.

Since most of the prep was done, I was able to tidy and get the hand dishes done well I made dinner which was nice as it was the only house stuff I got done yesterday.

Today, I have the bathmats and reusable cleaning clothes in the washer. I need to come up with a better system for these. Since they do not get washed with fabric softener they cannot go in with regular laundry but I do not have enough to justify a load each week. I need a bin or something I can put these things in, in the basement and then either bi-weekly or monthly wash them. Might need to make a trip to Dollarama.

Still need to figure out dinner for tonight. We are out of mushrooms and I do not plan to shop until tomorrow or Friday as I am waiting for the flyers to change. So anything with Mushrooms is out. Don't really have any cravings, nothing on the meal plan is jumping out. Will have to see as the day goes on.

    Happy Wednesday.

    Good morning!

I had a very productive day at work yesterday and when I left the sun was shining it felt so nice out.
Decided a nice drive was in order so came home showered and we were off to the casino for a free dinner. (Free Slot play bonus to use up) Brought DS home dinner too. And a few extra bucks Love short and sweet visits for dinner.

My idiot light was on so made it back to town to fill up at CT and take advantage of the bonus CT $ offer on my card. I would have gone in and paid the card off for the gas but CT was closed. It was just after 8 so I think it had just closed. My gas was $69.95 and since I had a big win I asked what the newest scratch ticket was. A $10 1 Million Jackpot ticket was the one so i grabbed it since I felt lucky. Won $40!!!
    A great night out

Just cleaned up the kitchen. Making pasta now to use up the sauce in the fridge. Next cooking up the steak strips that didn't get made last night.

Plan today- Work. Eat all meals at home. Keep kitchen clean. Drive DS to school/allergy appt/work.

    Have a fantastic day!

Not much happening today as yesterday landed with my ribs on the bannister. Thankfully not busted but man it smarts(Do not attempt yourself).
Still no sign of the sun but don’t feel as bad for not being able to have long walk(take your blessings where you can find them!).
Enjoy the rest of your day my friends!
Hi @Skippy ...have you ever not known me to seize an opportunity like this ? Let me preface this post by first saying I am so sorry about your hurting rib cage, no really I am! However, now I have to post a video, maybe it will give you ideas on how to descend the stairs quickly with little risk and in a more efficient manner. The trick is of course is to SEND KITTY DOWN FIRST! bwahaha!

Dropped DS off at school and stopped at No Frills-
Spent $18.45 (trying to just buy fresh stuff or stuff needed to make meals better) But still making sure we have stuff we like so we eat at home

    2 x packages of wraps
    2 x Rye bread
2 x Apple Cin Cheerios (nice sweet treat lol)
1 x blueberries (will go with the bananas for oatmeal topping)

Was starving so lunch was rice (from the other night) with a bit of steak I cooked up this morning.

    Good Morning,
Yesterday was okay, I did not get much done around the house but, I am not sure why but Wednesdays are always kind of an off day for me. So the few things I did get done are a win.

Trying to decide if I am going to Grocery Shop today, there aren't a ton of deals this week but I do need to restock my produce. It feels so weird to be completely out of Mushroom, they are a go-to veggie in our house and probably in 3 to 4 meals each week. I should go and just get it done.

Originally, we were supposed to get Rain today but now they are calling for snow. I know it is winter, I know, I live in Ontario but, I am good with no snow.

I feel like today is going to be a busy day, when I went to bed last night all of a sudden a million things hit me that I need to get done.

    Happy Thursday

    Good Morning!

We are under a freezing rain warning and bus service has been canceled so no school for most.
I did the driveway while waiting to drive DS. Parked the car back in the garage so I don't have to worry about scraping ice off it when I go back out later.

I can't wait till this work week is over...I need Saturday! (and the forecast says full sun Saturday!!)

Starving- Thinking its an oatmeal morning with banana and blueberries

    Have a great day!

we just have a drizzly dreary day so far here. No paper flyers yet and I have to go out, been avoiding shopping all week, now we need fuel too.
I really dislike being forced to drive to 3+ stores to get the items but it's looking that way now.
