I overheard an employee calling it a morgue. Same with going to Canadian Tire, and Burlington Centre today. I did pop into Old Navy and they were selling their shawls (light beige, no buttons) for $2.97! I didn't pick one up as I hate things falling off my shoulders, scarfs are bad enough.
My PC offers are not good. PC express did offer me 20,000 points if I spent $75 or more, which I did, and two weeks later offered only 10,000 points on $75. I'm sorry Mr. Weston, but this is not going to get me to order more for pick up.
I did manage to get a deal today. I had a surprise Canadian Tire triangle email that I clicked that said I would get $5 worth of Canadian Tire money on any purchase, so I combined it with two more offers - 25x the points for coffee pods, as well as 10x coffee pods (traded an offer). I spent $14.99 on Van Houtte 30 cup on sale, used my CTire mastercard and got $7.70 in back in Canadian Tire money! I have almost paid off my tires (pay over 24 months, interest free) and will keep saving my CT money for something in store.
The one thing I like about redeeming at Canadian Tire is if you return an item, the CT money redeemed goes back on your account. When I have redeemed at Shoppers in the past, and did a return, the points didn't get returned following a redemption event. After the last redemption at Shoppers with a substandard Acer laptop, I won't redeem for electronics again. Will save my PC points for food.
