This is very frustrating. I have missed the Biggest Redemption obviously. But the most annoying thing is that the customer service kept saying everything is fine but it isn't.
The only way to confirm whether the account is fine is to actually make a purchase, so I find myself bothering the cashiers again and again. I have called 9 times over the past 6 months, each time takes 45-60 minutes. And then I would waste 30-45 minutes at the store. I have $200 on the balance. So it's about 15 hours wasted just to try to get $200. I've been duped into working less than minimum wage, that is if I ever get to redeem.
And it is hurting themselves as well. They make me an upset customer so I stopped shopping there, but all the employee time they wasted on the phone and in stores. I guess the executives are knee-deep in that price-gouging money and stock buyback that they don't give a damn about the actual business now. PC group is more of a bank/casino now.
After escalating my case, I got a one-line respond saying I violated the Terms and Condition without telling me why or how to rectify the issue. It's just freaking rude. That person never return my email about getting more information or on how to solve the problem. I read the T&C, and I did nothing wrong. It might be a computer error on their end.
In addition to not able to redeem, I'm unable to get any member's discounts on the flyer. So my Optimum card is basically useless. I'm considering canceling my PC credit card. There is no point in having PC credit card if I will never be able to redeem rewards. I've been avoiding No Frills and SDM. Even considering moving my prescription. I just don't like to be treated as a low value customer.
I'm so sick of corporations right now.
