I do not visit NoFrills often. Isn't each location a private franchisee, who has some discretion on pricing and discounts? I cannot ever remember seeing a 50% discount for baked goods, but I wasn't looking all that closely, either.

Not sure but certainly not worth making a trip just for that nor in search of other discounts.However flyer deals are often not too shabby and one can price match.

I haven't found them worthwhile, in a long time. However, their current 6-litre NoName laundry detergent (150 loads) for $7 -- 4.7 cents/load made me get 3x jugs; probably enough to last me 5-yrs or more.
