My SUV is packed to the gills. We are off early in the morning. DS2 will be here with the dog as he has school. Then during his reading week he will fly out for a visit. We are there for 4 weeks to get everything set up for winter. It will be interesting to be working and not on vacation and it will be an adjustment for sure. . Hopefully we can get the furniture while we are there so we at least have a comfy place to sit.

Well, I finally caught CoVid, after 3 years of being very cautious.

I had to take my mother to the ER on Wed, Sept 13. They refused to send a text message when it would be our turn. They said that someone had to sit in the damn ER and suck wind with everyone. If we missed the call, that was our tough luck. What a bunch of morons. Even restaurants have easily solved their queue problems. They just issue you a beeper to call you, when your table is ready.

So, I sat there for over 8 hours sharing everyone's air. I tried to leave my mom in the car and shield her a bit, but she still caught it. I only tested last night and currently have very mild symptoms. A few oddly sore joints like knees and lower back and a little dry cough. Hope that it continues to be mild. What a waste. I did everything right for 3 years only to have the morons at ER give it to me. On further reflection, I should have offered someone/ANYONE in the ER $100 to listen for our name and send us a text message warning. Oh, well. If I caught it, I bet every single person in that ER caught it. The place was packed.

TGIF! Beautiful sunny start to the day! I'm in the office today but will get out to enjoy it later this afternoon.

The garage is 98% ready for car parking! Just have to move a few empty shelfs and DS has to move his hockey net up high. And we have to fold up a portable table and put it against the wall. So happy to have the worst of it done!

Yesterday afternoon I took 2 BLSL chicken breasts out of the freezer, 2 part bags of veggies (peas and a diced mixed bag) and tried the Tilda easy microwave Multigrain rice. ( I bought tons of these for my oldest so wanted to try one) Made 3 rice bowls. Had one for early dinner yesterday, one for my lunch today and pretty sure it was DS that ate one late last night.

Weekend plan- Finish garage. Continue cleaning the windows in the dining room. Move work space and then give the floors a good sweep and wash.
Set up new tv in family room (bought last night-deal) One day go for a drive for breakfast. Maybe Wasaga Beach. Then stop at beach for a walk.

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

@coupon girl , Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary.

I find Swiss Chalet has gotten so expensive, we have not had it in forever but I ordered it when I was out of town for work and was a bit surprised.

I saw on Facebook our Swiss Chalet now has a robot that serves you, it brings the food to the table and then your waitress comes over and takes it from the robot and puts it on your table.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Was up bright and early this morning which is great because I have a lot to get done.

I had to change my plans for yesterday because I got what I think was a sinus and tension headache and when I moved around I was getting a shooting pain from my ear down my neck. So instead of writting policy for work and cleaning around the house, I did some day-to-day processing as that did not need focus and concentration.

All I got done around the house was emptying the dishwasher, putting away the hand dishes and making dinner but based on how I was feeling I am happy.

Today is policy and procedure day with some cleaning mixed in. My Sheets are being washed, will see if Mom wants hers done.

I ran out at 7:30 this morning to fill my car up to take advantage of the bonus points being offered. I always wonder why bonus points offered for gas do not last all week, this one I believe ends tomorrow (I think I saw the 23rd, but the 24th makes more sense).

Since I was driving by I ran into Sobey's and grabbed 4 of the Hunt's Thick & Rich Roasted Garlic, 3 Tomato Sauce No Salt Added and 2 Tomato Sauce Garlic & Herb for $0.99. Trying to get my pantry ready for winter, stocking up on all the winter staples.

    Happy Friday Everyone

Happy Birthday to you! 64 is a memorable birthday just ask some group called The Beatles who recorded the song "When I'm 64"
I would've posted a link but I'm not very far behind you in age and have never been able to add anything to a post! However if anyone out there is so inclined, perhaps you would do the honours and post said song TIA.
Also a very Happy Anniversary to you and yours, may you both be blessed today and in the years ahead!

Duh says Skippy...I now see that @walkonby already mentioned said song!
