    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Oh my gosh I do not know what is up today but I am so tired. I did not want to get up but forced myself to get up because I had some stuff I needed to get done before my meetings.

Went into the office had my meetings and came home. I have been working away on all the work things.

Now it is time to get some house stuff done, will make dinner, keeping it simple with Meat Sauce over Pasta and maybe some Garlic Bread. Normally I would make a Salad but I had a Salad for lunch might just have some cut up veggies on the side.

Will tidy up the Kitchen it isn't dirty just some dishes and few other things to deal with.

Honestly, I just want to go to bed, the sun has gone down and my whole body is saying bedtime.

    Happy Tuesday Everyone.

I guess I should have played more video games as a kid too

Oh no . Your poor mom. It’s a serious illness and I’m definitely getting the vaccine when I’m eligible.

It has been melting or raining over the last week. It’s mostly brown outside and muddy. We are under a storm advisory today, heading into tomorrow. They’re forecasting 15-20cm of snow where I work and 10-15cm of snow where my husband and children live. I’m supposed to drive home Friday after work, so we’ll see how the roads are by then.

When I hit 50 I’ll definitely be getting the vaccine for shingles. My dad unfortunately didn’t and thought he’d be fine. Now he has to wait a year to get it. My mom will get hers now.
@coupon girl OUCH! The face ,especially near the eyes is awful and can cause blindness. Thank goodness you’re ok.

I hope your granddaughter finds relief after her tonsils are removed. Poor kiddo
Do you have to wait till age 50 for that vaccine? I never really had chicken pocks (sp) as a child so I worry that I will get the worst of shingles (this is what I heard) the there is my sister that had chicken pocks/measles etc always at the same time as her best friend...and I had to stay away

Good morning and happy hump day! It looks bright out and I see sunshine!

My main focus this morning is work. Hoping what I have to do goes smoothly this morning. I started work early today with the hopes of being done early so I can enjoy a bit of the sunshine this afternoon.

    Have a great day!

QOTD do these sudden weather changes affect anyone else's body? just asking as I would like to think I'm not weird(at least in this respect cuz I maybe in others!).
Took a brief look at the "sales" but again much to be desired IMO, so glad I took advantage of what there was when I did because now it seems you can't necessarily count on any consistency from one week to another!
Whatever you're up to,wherever you are this weekend stay safe and well my friends!
Mom can be affected during a weather change or even 24-72h ahead of a snowstorm or big rainfall. Can be a whole body issue or only around the arms or where her head injury was. Usually she retreats to bed when she cannot take it anymore or says she feels unwell. Sometimes she'll get up for tea or light meal but will stay in bed until it passes.

At least Fortinos has lowered the price of No Name frozen veggies from $3.29 (yikes) back to $2.99. Grateful for small things but I still reached for $2.99 PC Frozen veggies as I wanted to try the summer blend veggie mix in egg bites. Note-don't butter a metal muffin tin for egg bites. The yogurt I used in place of sour cream and the egg basically fried onto the metal (as though I had scalded milk in a pan) and took several scrubbings and some scraping to remove. I have put a silicone muffin pan on one store's registry list to buy.

Kind of soggy bottoms for the bites but I enjoyed something new. Just not the pan scrubbing...
@herman H OOh thanks for the $5 Tuesday movie news. My friend wants to see Dakota Johnson's new movie. I don't know what's on that I want to see. Wonka?

I posted three contests-the NFL swag one with Fortinos ends tonight.

Walmart has the Mandarin restaurant frozen entrees on sale for $8.97. Do line your pan with foil or whatever the package says. When I cooked the bbq pork entree (yummy) the sticky sauce was very firmly attached to the toaster oven pan. Soaking and patience and scrubbing with a Scrunge pad...
I am waiting for someone to confirm that the black pepper beef entree is as spicy as the takeout version (which I call empty the pepper mill beef).

Happy Lunar New Year to all who are celebrating on Feb 10 and onwards! I'll be online on Feb.13. Enjoy what sunshine comes to your part of Canada, everyone!

Today may end up being super frugal. Dr. appt. ( a follow up ) first to get the good/bad?? results on the ultrasounds and x-rays of the knees. Getting my tush down to basement and at the computer was an absolute nightmare, I slept through all of the Leafs game BUT they won! DH may have to drive me to the Clinic if this darn knee
    doesn't become bendable before morning.
Oh yes, the frugal part will be me not shopping at the grocery store(s) as was my original plan. The knee decides when that will come about. Happy Thursday all.

We received rain followed by snow yesterday. The streets in this town were full of potholes due to last year’s extensive work on the waterlines. Now those holes are camouflaged by all the new snow. All busses are cancelled to this school this morning due to road conditions. All rural busses to my children’s community are also cancelled this morning. I’m working on a plan B for today’s lessons, since so many students will likely be absent.

Good Morning! Another dry mild day here today.
Will be taking the pup for a good walk later this afternoon. Maybe we will park downtown and walk the water/docks.

Not sure about the dinner plan tonight. I feel to busy with my work day to worry about it. May be a simple/fend for yourself kind of night.

I'm feeling tired. Need to wake up and get this work day over with. Bring on the weekend!

    Have a fantastic day!

    Good Evening Everyone,
I feel like my head is kind of spinning this week, all good things just a lot of moving parts I am trying to stay on top of.

Yesterday I was in one of the plants training someone as a crossed-trained employee. Then I went to our branch and discussed a new programmed with them since they are the ones handling it, another procedure to write. Then since it was much later than I expected I hung around until the closed the branch to watching their closing process. This branch is using a different POS machine then our other branches and our provider wants us to move all of our branches to the new machine. So another procedure to write up.

Today was not my best day, I woke up with a horrible headache and had group training and it is my group that never asks questions or participates so it is an hour of me talking. I always get some nervous because my boss and the regional manager joined which I do not care about presenting to them but I feel it reflects badly on me that I cannot get this group to participate they just shake their heads yes or give me a thumbs up.

After the training I did manage to knockout 3 policies which have been sent out for feedback. This will be one of my smart goals for the year is get our policies and procedures on paper.

I looked at the flyers, there are a few things I will grab plus we need Milk but I have to say the flyers were underwhelming this week. Works for me because I did a large shop last week so it will all even out.

I had planned to go Costco shopping last night after work but since I was in the branch later than expected and the thought of going to Costco at 5 pm after being on my feet all day was not appealing. Honestly, by the time I was done I just wanted to be off my feet.

Tonight I am making Chicken Sandwiches with Air Fryer Crispy Gnocchi as a side, it is a new dish for us will see how we like it.

    Happy Thursday Everyone.

I am starting to feel like PC points are like being the good employee at work. You get stuff done so more is given to you because they know you will get it done.

With PC it is "OH she used that offer so let's up the spend threshold and see if she will bite."

I was getting and offer spend $15 on teas get 1500 pts, not the best offer but for Mom's tea that never goes on sale it is something. Now I am getting spend $30 on teas get 2000 pts. So I have to spend double and only get an extra 500 pts. To be honest, does anyone spend $30 on tea in one trip????

I also feel like they are trying to get rid of the personal offers and replace them with the where you shop most. It used to be that if I saved my 4 offers most week I have about 10 offers total with the 4 I saved. Now I save my 4 offers and only get 2 other offers last week, it was two products I had never even heard of.

I know complaining won't help but I have to be honest, between the flyers this week and my offers it was like nothing is pulling me into the stores this week other than we need Milk.
