I was like that 10 years ago
But Ellen, we realise the money saving when we use and eat the stuff in that jar (or the stuff of the stockpile)!!!
Those jars are not to be contemplated!!!
FYI, at this time of the year the pantry is more full of empty jar than full jars We will be in march in 3 daysLiberty of one finish where liberty of the other one start

There is differents recipes tested for safety to follow.
You need a presure canner to can meat safely.
I will not wrote recipe here, I'm french speaking first and don't want to do a translation mistake with stuff like that. You could look Bernardin's publications and look at many blog on the web about preserving, there is alot in english
With time, I know the kind of canned meat I like, and what I prefered to keep in my freezer. I can different ground meat (ham, chicken, turkey, pork) to do sandwich for the lunch of my husband and my DDs... and next year, DS#1 will also need a lunch 5 days a week. So I rarely buy deli meat to do sandwich.Liberty of one finish where liberty of the other one start

92 per cent savings at Metro - very nice. Plus, with your metro and me points, you actually made money. WTG.
spinach seeds and soil? LOL. We bought our garden seeds last week at The Bargain Shop for $0.39

Thanks abouret! I just try to be better this year
Yes Shwa Girl, I "made" money with my metro shop this time. It was planned for that. I don't buy alot of stuff there, but always used my FPC to get metro & me points to have a voucher to spend every 3 month. Right now I have a good sequence and alot of useful bonus points coupon to match with my FPC.
maybe I should wrote "top soil" instead of "soil"
My spinach seeds are finish, I needed some and grab it at CT with my scratch cardLiberty of one finish where liberty of the other one start

I know I could have trade to get sunlight FPC, but I don't want to spend lot of time in trading to get those FPCs and because I mostly use all my FPCs myself I don't have alot to offer for trade. And I'm not the kind of person who offer stamps or GC to get FPC. So I'm happy with the price of my sunlight powder box. Now I could put my energy on something else
