Our house uses Palmolive original detergent most of the time for clothing stains and sometimes for washing the vinyl floor in case there are missed drips or stains I overlooked during floor sweeping or walking over them. Sibling has the Bissell machine for cars and that solution is pricey (but smells like Woolite Dark somewhat when used on upholstery) though Canadian Tire does put it on sale or offers Triangle Reward points on automotive cleaning products. It works well on indoor carpeting too (as long as there is underpad or something to absorb water in order to minimize floor moisture) for small sections as tank has limitations.
