Canadian Tire flyer also shows an Autotrends seat cushion at 45% off and up to 30% off on select smoke detectors, CO monitors and fire extinguishers.

Good Morning! I could hear the rain early this morning (poured!!) Not raining now but dark and gray out and can hear thunder in the distance.

Last night I pulled from the freezer a whole chicken and peameal roast. Chicken is in the oven now. Will deal with the peameal this morning.
Will get the potatoes and veggies ready too for dinner. The peameal is for the boys to make egg/peameal breakfast sandwiches
Really need to start using up our freezer stuff
Yesterday I bought so much bread! Rye/English muffins/bagels and hot and hamburger buns Just wanted stuff for easy breakfast/ dinners for when nothing is made.

Today I need to go to FB and grab a few more packs of eggs. DS is good for making breakfast for dinner when nothing is made so I like to keep him stocked up.

Now to get this work day out of the way! My 3 day work week this week should go by quickly hopefully.

    Have a great day!

    Morning! Blue skies and sunshine!

Enjoying my coffee while planning out my day.

Took 2 packages of the grass fed beef I bought last week and have them cooking up on the stove. Will make into taco meat.
Just need to pick up the small wraps at FB for DS. We have everything else needed.

I have clean laundry to put away today and I should wash a load and hang it to dry to keep up on it.

    Have a wonderful day!

Good morning. Wow it’s cold here. I really just want sun and warmth now. Our good weather is so short so I want to squeeze every bit of it I can. The only good part is sleeping last night was wonderful temperature wise.

Yesterday was a humdinger of a day! Wednesday’s are and next week is even worse So today is a bit of a “rest” day which means just light duties at home and working out.

Despite the rough day I managed an hour walk with Dh . Oh ya and I got a raise . Very unexpected but very much appreciated.

Off to check out the produce in the flyers and meal plan for a the next few days. Also headed to the garden to tidy it up before the rain comes.

Big cool down here too Harbie-good excuse to wear my new Costco sweatshirt. The smoke is gross today so hoping for some rain to clear the air. While I was at No Frills I also shopped for an elderly friend so I have done my good deed for the day. We are expecting 6 guests overnight tomorrow but honestly anything can change with all these wildfires. Just awful the destruction in Jasper.

@lizzie bargain my heart breaks for all those affected by the fires. Jasper is so heartbreaking . I’ll take the cooler weather and rain if it dampens the fires. Luckily we aren’t affected by the smoke but that’s supposedly going to change in a few days

I think our whole province( and across the country) are just gutted about the destruction in Jasper-it was such a beautiful place. I guess though we should be thankful there was no loss of life.

    Congratulations on your raise @harbie
It’s cool here today but after the extreme heat I don’t mind and my power bill will be happy.
Yesterday DH noticed he had a PCO at SDM for 7500 PCO wus 15.00. I needed to go into town for an appointment so I happily made time. On my card I need to do one shop this weekend of 20.00 and then get 12000 PCO. It was a shop 5x get x points.

It does seem too much rain is falling in places without fires but washing out roads and bridges. While the forest fires seem to get little rain coming along to give firefighters a break (also a break for wildlife that have to run to new territory).

Walmart's digital flyer has Senior's Week online- get 10% off when you purchase a min. 5 items online. Use code GET5SAVE10. Conditions apply. Order until July 31. My memory has a partial recall of a past event in the spring.

Tomorrow Canadian Tire is offering 20% in CT e-money when you redeem CT money (to maximum redemption of $1000) on your purchase with your Triangle Rewards points card.

Cheapest non-alcoholic beer offers except Partake are $7.49 at Loblaws. Partake is $6.99 at another banner. A couple of personal care items seem to be 50 cents to one dollar higher "on sale." No Frills flyer only has NoName products featured. Both RCSS and Loblaws offer 20000 PC Opt wus $100 on baby needs but the RCSS flyer states the offer is in the app.

I have some sliced rye bread I forgot about from Monday. Could become French toast breakfast in the morning. Lovely sunny but muggy day for Thursday-have been eating peaches. No, I could not find non cable tv coverage of Games (woke up too early) so I viewed the last episode of The Kardashians (it had been uploaded in mirror image but the show was still viewable) and later saw some Wed night coverage repeating on the streaming CBC channel.

Some digital cleanup is necessary in the next three days and tech time with Mom is also needed. Plus the Summer Games must be indulged three years after the aspirational trailer screened at the Closing Ceremonies in Tokyo. What will Los Angeles offer as a preview for 2028?

Certainly will enjoy the weekend. May your getaway inspire you.
Games will have the Opening Ceremonies airing on tv etc at 1pm. CBC will have a preshow beginning at noon.
Need to buy beverages and a few clearance items at Cdn Tire plus something I am almost out of. Spring chill is evident today then the humidity ramps up for 7+ days. Fill the icemaker and ice cube trays and popsicle moulds...
The French toast will have to wait for lunch. Found a sweet to give me morning energy.

West Coast Kids continues its 50th anniversary sale. Last day to enter their Instagram giveaways.
Miles the Label has its fall kids clothing online-- some great colours and prints. The bumblebee print dress for girls on Nordstrom's site is not showing yet on MTL website probably as Nordstrom's Anniversary sale continues.
Time to walk and figure out why phone has the roaming symbol on since my Google Lens QR search last night.

I’m glad you’ve found some pain relief @coupon girl . I’ve never had a cortisone shot but I’ve heard they are “not comfortable” but they do work so I’m happy you’re doing better. Follow dr.’s orders.
