They had 3 titles: Weekend Treats, After School Snacks and Bag Lunches. Very neat looking.

Yup, the belts were also at a number of other Dollaramas! They're pretty nice & for $2 for genuine dockers belts- they're also a steal!

(I think there was on a thread about just the belts )

For back to school they also have some cute simple pencil cases, pencil boxes, along with some nice notebooks and planners.

I saw Always (I think Maxi Pad) in Dollarama today for 1.5$, those are made in Hungary, quite surprised that they have stuffs from Europe too!

Everything For A Dollar I would get dog snacks made in Argentina,soap made in the U.A.E. and dishwashing soap made in Turkey.

I work at the dollarama and I can say that before I started working there I never spent so much money there in my life. They have great deals on brand names like L’Oreal, Dove, Pro V and sunsilk in the cosmetics department, in the school and work supplies we have everything from laptop bags for sizes from mini’s to 15”, the stuff in the cutlery, kitchen, and bathroom are all great deals, a lot of the stuff advertised on tv is now sold at the dollarama, sure some of the stuff are knock offs but they work just as good. Take the magic pad for example, the one made by mister clean is sold for 10$ a box, ours is sold for 1$ a box and works just as well! I to would stay away from the food from china, but the knor soups and the lindt chocolates and other brand names are all great! If you ever have any questions about our items ask me, I am glad to answer your questions. And ever since we got items at 1.25 1.50 and 2$ our store has only gotten better!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

i buy mittens and scarves there for the whole family. I'm from winnipeg and it's pretty cold and mittens, touques and scarves go missing all the time....you don't feel so bad losing them when they're so cheap!

i also love the kids activity books that are educational and the kids love them (spiderman, batman, dinosaurs, dora, diego...). same thing with wall decals for decorating rooms, disney characters and other great designs for any room.

My moms EX-Friend (she's since gone senile) used to work there and about 99% of the staff were drug addicts who stole from the store/customers.
I'm not going to say which location in Ottawa, but I wouldn't shop there if you paid me. Not that i'm against whatever they do on their time off, but that one girl brought her son in who used to cause a lot of trouble with customers, getting them in trouble, stuff like that. Pm me if you want to know which location.
That girl doesn't work there, but I know for a fact she was replaced with other crazies. (she got fired for stealing hundreds)
