Christmas 2024

Christmas 2024! I didn't see a thread for this one so thought I would start it!

I have finally started :)

Niece- I have picked up a few puzzles and toy things she likes on clearance (SDM and Walmart) Will pick up a few more things and write a cheque to her so she can bring it to the bank and add to her bank account :) So almost done her.

My boys- I have all the junk for their Christmas bag (Pistachios, pringles, sugar free drinks they like) socks and boxers for one.
On the hunt for socks and boxers and a few clothing items each and then a cheque to each and done!

My mom- I pick up food/tea items for her. Will watch for sale/deals closer to the date but will pick out a box to start adding to it. Plus I take her to the casino for a meal and give her a few $$$ to play with.

I have a few toys for my sister's grandkids.

For my friends- I will do up a little box for each. One I will have to mail so will get that sorted and ready by Nov 15th to mail out.

That is about it. We don't do gifts...usually say let go on a trip instead :)

Yes, this is about the time to see who is on the gift list, as well as which charities or gift drives to budget for.

Treated myself to a green Keurig K-mini brewer at $69.99 during recent Cdn Tire sale. Since I purchased another item bringing pretax amount over $80, earned $5 bonus CT money. Used my $5.69 ct money against chai latte pods package in transaction 2 to save on cash pymt.

Now am looking slightly enviously at the Keurig Essentials K-cafe unit with milk frother included on sale for $94.99 at Walmart. Frother retails for $79.99 separately.
At least I can put the K-mini away when not in use and I like the green colour.

I have bought some clothing for the grandkids for xmas,no toys etc yet as i am still getting over birthdays ,plus one coming up in nov little miss cara.

Oh and 3 small xmas gift sets for son and daughter and daughter-in-law on seniors day at shoppers 20% off helps.
