Scotiabank is offering free complementary Accidental Death Insurance to Scotiabank customers, who are residents of Canada, and 18-74 years old. No charge, ends automatically. You need to register before the end of the year. Underwritten by Chubb, valid for 5 years, payout in the case of Accidental Death $5k (reduced by half at the age of 75). Apparently, they also pay if you spend 365 days in a hospital following an accident. Spouces (Spice?) can be insured for free, too.
