Wealthsimple: 2024 Free iPhone/Macbook Promotion (for bringing in at least $100K)

Wealthsimple has released their 2024 version of the free Apple product promotion.

New and existing customers who activate this offer at Wealthsimple and bring at least $100K of new assets (can be cash or investments) to Wealthsimple will get a free Iphone 16 or Macbook.

$100,000 to $299,999.99: free iPhone 16 128GB OR Macbook Air (13", M2 CPU, 8 core GPU, 16GB RAM, 256SSD)
$300,000 to $499,999.99: free iPhone 16 Pro 128GB OR Macbook Pro (14", M4 10-core CPU, 10 core GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD)
$500,000+: free iPhone 16 Pro Max 1TB OR Macbook Pro (14", M4 Pro 12-core CPU, 16 core GPU, 24GB RAM, 512GB SSD)

Customers have 30 days after activating the offer to transfer in qualifying assets to Wealthsimple that will be used towards the bonus eligibility calculation.

365 hold period: For new customers, the total of net assets sent to Welthsimple for this promotion will have a 5% withdrawal limit. For existing Wealthsimple customers, the net asset total sent to Wealthsimple will be added to any pre-existing Wealthsimple balances to calculate a 5% withdrawal limit. Customers who withdrawal more than that 5% limit will need to pay back the retail value of the bonus Apple product.

The offer can now be activated from the rewards area of the Wealthsimple app.

Wealthsimple has updated the terms and conditions to include bonus products with better specs than originally announced for the laptops. The first 2 models will now come with 16GB of RAM, and the third laptop will come with 24GB of RAM. The last two models that were to have M3 and M3 Pro CPUs will now come with M4 and M4 Pro instead.
