Twin boy helped me calculate the savings for this year while I was making taco salad for supper on New Years Eve.

    Total $6059.86

    Big saving categories were…
    $1778.60 coupons
    $700 Scene+
    $540 PC Optimum
    $620 Air Miles
    $715 gift card
    $400 in contest wins

I average $5 a month from Swagbucks and $5 a month from the Cashwalk app.

Some of the things I do not count in my savings: buying things on sale, clearance, rain checks, buying things second hand.

    Good Morning Everyone,
    Happy New Year.

It is snowing but not sticking yet, I know this will change as it supposed to snow pretty much all day.

It has been a slow start to the morning but there are a few things I will tackle today. I need to put away a bag of groceries in the pantry. I need to reorganize my work basket as it is full of non work things and stuff keeps falling out.

I might also spend some time in the kitchen, we will see how the day goes. Yesterday I got the appetizers made plus I made some Lemon Ricotta Pancake with Berry Sauce and Whipped Greek Yogurt (I need to start eating Breakfast again) as well I cooked off some bacon I took out and forgot to cook.

There are some mozzarella sticks leftover I will bag up. I also have some Waffles I froze that I will package. As well I did make the Cinnamon Buns yesterday and will package the frozen ones today. I will probably end up freezing some of the pancakes as well. Slowly working on the freezer stock up.

Has anyone tried the new Costco Chicken Bites that just came to Canada? Thinking of grabbing a bag but seen mixed reviews.

    Happy Wednesday Everyone.

    Hi Everyone,

I haven't been online for a while. Had a terrible chest cold in early Dec, than I fell and bruised my face and fractured my left hand/wrist. So happy December is over, as it wasn't good month for me.

I did spend last night at a friend's house and we watched Wicked, and ordered Chinese. It was a nice quiet, new years eve.

I wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Glad to see your back @barbis9 hopefully things will be better for you this year
@coupon girl I hope your granddaughter is feeling better. Poor girl

I had to work yesterday but picked up FREE gnocchi ($11.99) and FREE Nuts for cheese ($10.99) with my last FPC’s.

We went to mom and dad's last night (they’re only 5 doors down). They ordered sushi (vegan for us and regular for dad) and loads of veggies it’s my vegan ranch. I managed to stay awake until 9pm to see the ball drop in NYC and then home to bed

Of course we were woken up by some fireworks, drunk people, and of course our friendly fire truck AGAIN. Two early mornings in a row ( 2am ish)

Patiently waiting for the gym to one in about 45 min so just having some oatmeal first.

    Have a great day everyone
