    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Oh what a day, my boss called and asked me if they needed me too could I run into a location, yep no problem. Shortly after I posted this morning I got the email to go in. I only ended up working a few hours and someone came in so I could leave but I had to go back at the end of the day to close the branch.

Normally I would have just worked in the branch but I am having an off day, I feel like something is off, I am off and focusing has been hard so home I came.

On my way home I ran into No Frills we did need a lot but needed a few things and price matches a few things:
    1 x Naturally Imperfect Mushrooms $4.50
    2 x Asparagus $1.88
    1 x Grapes $1.44/lb
    2 x Sugar $1.99
    2 x Vanilla Yogurt $2.49 (PM Wal-Mart)
    1 x Smartfood White Cheddar $2.50
    2 x Hot Dog Buns $2.22
4 x Chicken Broth $1.25 (PM Food Basics)
1 x Silk Almond Milk $2.77 (PM Freshco)
    2 x Chai Tea $2.77 (PM Freshco)

Happy I had dinner in the Slow Cooker because once I got home I was done. I wish I could use my slow cooker more often but it is so hard because we work such long hours some days I would need recipes that can be in the slow cooker for 10+ hours. But happy when I can use it.

I did convince myself to make the Strawberry Crisp, as I was pouring out the strawberries I started thinking "WOW this is a lot of Strawberries" but once I was done measuring them I still have some left, I only used about half of what we had.

It is weird I am happy to see we have space in our chest freezer but at the same time deep down I am panicking because there is space in our freezer. Story of my life I am one great big huge catch 22, I was to focus on our staples but don't want to use up the oddities because my brain tells me but if we have them we have them and eventually will use them. It isn't like I am wasting the stuff but using up still gives me that oh no I will need to buy more feeling.

Time to make some whipped cream to go with the crisp and it might be early to bed for me, I am so tired tonight.

Good Morning! Sun is shining but it looks chilly out. We will see once I venture out.

Started work early today so I can shut down early. Enjoying my fresh brewed at home coffee

Breakfast will be oatmeal with fresh strawberries.
Dinner- Making it a fend for yourself night so the leftover get eaten. DS made pita pizza yesterday for lunch and added leftover chicken to it so hoping he does that again today.

Shopping- I don't like buying shredded cheese but for $2.94 after sale/coupon it is a deal so will buy more for DS. Thinking I will buy 7 and redeem $20 in PC pts. and pay .60c cash I will also pick up a few bars at GT $4.44 less .50C coupon. Stock us up!

    Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

    Good morning everyone.

It’s a COLD morning here . I need summer. I want to SPRING past Spring and land in summer!

I got a call yesterday that there was a cancellation for medical imaging so they offered it to me which I jumped at it. Now all my tests will be done before I see my surgeon for my follow up appointment . Now to drink lots of water, which isn’t the problem, and hold it (that’s normal not an issue until I’m told to hold it ).

I wish the new flyers were out now so I could go through them instead of to when I have to work.

I literally have nothing planned today but I might do a tiny load of laundry but that it. Most stuff is done and I’m feeling a bit lazy today

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Off to down my H2O.

Enjoy whatever sunshine comes this week! Yesterday's cold wind kept the ground from being squishy which assisted with the last main areas of raking. Ran out of yard bags, so I redeemed my $5 Lotto 649 win to pay off part of the 10pk of bags. Popped into Value Village to look for baby gear (nope), jackets ($23+ for the better brands with a few winter ones on rail) and tops (Jones New York minicheck shirt with blingy buttons and two fabric touches absent from my Simons minicheck shirt). Rona+ has McKenzie Seeds and tace sets (regular size strawberries, not alpine variety).
My Walmart supercentre has walled off skincare and cosmetics area with little gates and signage saying to pay for items at the section's checkout with cashier. Nivea lotions are stocked in that area, with regular personal care items on other side of a wall. Also noticed that food clearance items are on a separate rack near grocery while all other clearance items including pet items remain at the centre back cube. Seems whenever I stop at the cube, at least two other shoppers look at one of the shelves too.Walmart seems to be Walmartting itself-puzzle back wall replaced by Lego sets while the puzzle boxes are on a rolling cart and some toy shelves are empty. No winter footwear clearance area seen as shoe dept is set for spring/summer footwear.
Was so happy to see three stacks of new Walmart handbaskets-hope shoppers do not take them away as I need them for when a cart is too big for small shops. Not much of a fan of the wheeled plastic carts but have not seen them lately in-store.

Well that did go as planned. What started as casually moving a couple of items in the pantry turned into a complete reorganization! It looks SO much better and now I know exactly what I have and don’t have.

Also received approval for 3 Danone/Silk free coupons, just need to print them.

Well I did my good deed of the day and I have signed up to deliver bagged lunches to local schools from a local charity. It is flexible and I can just sign up for any shifts I like. Apparently they will either pay mileage or give you a tax receipt so will have to figure out which is the best way to go.

Good Morning! Hoping the clouds are going to push aside and let the sun shine but it's not looking good!

I feel like I slept good last night but I am feeling tired! Thinking I just need a walk and fresh air so once I am finished my coffee I will go out around my neighbourhood.

Today should be a quiet work day so I am going to try and get my office cleaned up. I am setting up 3 boxes. Garbage, garage sale and give away.
I want it completely cleaned by the end of the day. Want to move my desk and printer and set it up better.

The laundry I hung up to dry on Monday needs to be put away today. The towels were folded and put away right away once dried so at least that was done.

Dinner- Still have leftover to use up so I will see what I can make to go with them. I thawed a Lou's box of meat- shredded beef. I bought it for DS when he was home alone (away on vacation) but he didn't eat it so I tossed it in the freezer. There is enough of a baguette left that I will make him an amazing sandwich with it when he gets home from work. I do have fresh asparagus and mushrooms that I need to use up ASAP so will make those for sure. Maybe I will pull a bag of shrimp from the freezer to make as well since we need to use them up too.

So tired of deciding what to eat/make. Sometimes I just want something simple- like veggies and dip and call it a night!

Yesterday I made oatmeal for breakfast. Leftovers in fridge for today and tomorrow. Save my eggs

Decided to take a large family pack of lean ground beef out of the freezer and will make taco meat. Then the taco stuff will get used up and I will make taco salad for my dinner!

Sometimes just having something ready in the fridge to heat up and eat solves the problem of what to eat
