Today is the day my dear mom passed 12 years ago ,i will never forget the year as Ashlyn my granddaughter will turn 12 in October.

I had my girlfriend drop in for tea and lemon loaf ,we chatted she makes earrings and let me pick a pair out .Nice gesture for sure.
Then my son dropped in for a coffee.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Got invited to a Pizza lunch at our local branch, went for lunch, was supposed to have a meeting, but it was cancelled.

I was going to go to Dollarama but decided not too. Will wait until I am in one of out other branches that puts me closer.

Could not decide what to make for dinner tonight so keeping it simple with a Sheet Pan meal, making Sausages with Sweet Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts.

Still need to work on my meal plan, again this week I seem to be obsessed with Beef, everything I come up has beef in it which is weird because we don't eat a ton of beef.

I did find a Gnocchi Recipe I want to try just need to figure out what to serve it with. I was thinking Steak since they are in a creamy mushroom sauce but also there is just something about Steak with a Baked Potato.

The more I think about it the more I would like to spend the weekend in the kitchen but at the same time I really need to get my freezers and pantry in order. Think I will just wait to see how I feel in the morning.

Good Morning Everyone,
All I wanted was a restful and relaxing weekend, maybe a little rage cleaning but things are not falling into place.

Last night I was going over a few things and noticed something was odd so I call
"Oh, yes, we see the issue, let us fix",
ok great.
"Oh, I should be able to do this but it won't let me."
What's next
"You will need to in person and see someone"
Is there another option as you are not local
"Try tomorrow"

This morning I try first there chat
"We cannot help, you need to sign for the change but this number can"
Um, nope they couldn't

So, whatever the ichy weather has not started yet, I guess I am making a drive. I go in explain my situations to which I am annoyed but trying to smile
"Well just do this to fix it"
I tried it won't let me which is how I knew there was an issue, I was told I need to sign something which is why it couldn't be done for me
"No, just do this"
But I can't, can you?
"What do you want me to do"
I want my access back whatever needs to be done
"Done"
Ok, so I can now access it again?
"Give it until you get home, might take a few minutes"

I am not home and it isn't work and I stopped at 2 stores on the way home it has been over an hour.

So I call again
"Sorry, we cannot help you, you need to go in person"
I did and it still isn't isn't working
"Let me transfer you to the local location"

They transfer me only to get a recording telling me I am being transferred back to the call Center and now I sit on hold again.

I am trying not get cranky but where is the customer service?????? I can see if one person struggled (maybe they are new) but I have now spoken to over 5 people including going in person which was supposed to fix it on the spot and it still is not fixed.

Me again LOL.

It took 8 people and it still is not fixed. I am now being told wait until Tuesday and if it is still not fixed contact them again.

You can tell me it is just me but what has completely frustrated me and made me mad was every person I spoke to told me something different and how the person before them was wrong. Again I can see 1 person but that it took 8 people and it still isn't "fixed."

But since I did go out this morning an was in the same area as Dollarama I went in to grab a few things we needed around the house:
Febreeze
Toilet Tabs (There Bleach Tabs are by far the best toilet tabs I have used and you get 2 for $1.25)
Plastic Wrap (I buy the huge one from Costco but like a little roll when I am making dough or for a quick cover, long term storage use the Costco one)
Markers (They have these really nice fine markers that are perfect for my bullet journals)
Bullet Journals (I want to set one up for my projects to see if it helps me focus, plus I grabbed some extras)

I actually ended up going to two different Dollaramas as the first did not have the journals and the other one is only about 5 minutes away so since I was out anyways.

Last night I caught up on my budget and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised, I knew I was not over budget but I thought I had used about 75% of our grocery budget for March. Nope, I haven't even used 50% yet and I checked I wasn't missing any receipts. Now, I was a little over for my stock up budget but I had some carry over from last month so still some $$$ left that will carry over to next month (I am going to try my best to not go to Costco again this month, I have been 3 times, although if they put Chicken Breast on sale back I will go).

Going to eat some lunch and maybe do some rage cleaning.

Happy Saturday! Was snowing and blowing this morning. Still windy now but the sun is out.

Popped out this morning for a coffee and a walk around SDM and RCSS. Redeemed $10 in PC pts for a 4L bag of milk and 2 x hashbrowns -paid .95C after points.

Made a homemade mac and cheese this morning and cleaned out the fridge while it was in the oven.

Dinner is ready to cook- Will make it around 5pm since DS has a hockey game later tonight. Steak, red potatoes and asparagus. Finally making this! Had to toss the mushrooms.

Tax lady just texted me she is picking up tax stuff Monday if I have it ready. Getting it ready now!

Yum FBM-I will be right over. I just signed up on the Elections Canada website to work the election so will see if they call me.

@lizzie bargain I too applied for the federal elections. I worked the provincial one, and had so much fun.

Good Morning Everyone,
I had this huge prep planned for today and so far it is not happening. Could we add an extra day to this weekend????

Actually I was going to ask for Friday off but now I have back to back to back to back meetings so that is now not an option.

But I really do need to prep or I will be paying for it all week. Not sure of my schedule so I want to have some stuff in the fridge ready to go.

I did not get any cleaning done yesterday, I crashed after lunch so instead I worked on my new bullet journal for work. Something about creating layouts and drawing lines relaxes me. I still have more pages to do but hoping I will have to ready to go for tomorrow.

Afternoon girls went home at 11.00 a.m i am a little tired as both slept with me in a queen bed ,so not much room.lol

I took them to McDonalds for supper not cheap at all,but we enjoyed it .I had a hamburger the girl 2 happy meals plus they shared a oreo frostie type item.

Cara and i played a few board and card games ,papa took them to the park -it was cold they said .This morning cara helped me with my adult puzzle while Ashlyn built some lego house.

All in all a great sleepover with nana and papa.

DH and I also applied to work the election. We did the recent provincial one and it was a long day but nice to have the extra cash. I am happy they picked the 28th as we would have needed to change our drive back to NS if it was the 5th of May.
