ha ha ha ! @Frugalbigmama after reading about your DS's socks, it sparked me to bring up how our DS does his own laundry here.
We've requested he NEVER put anything of ours in the tub with his work clothes and also his after work sweats. I've seen how dirty the
washing water looks as the machine runs and wonderdid he even put any laundry pods in? The funnier part comes when I clear
the lint from the dryer screen. It's nearly all black hair! Very little lint.

Since i dont drink coffee, hubby likes folgers, melitta stocked up on 3 cans at giant tiger about 2 months ago on sale 10.99,van houtte i found on clearance at sobeys for 9.99 large can .P.C coffee i paid 2/25.00 in shoppers about 4 months ago so 12.50 now it is 19.99 in no frills yesterday .
So when these cans run out i guess i will have to bite the bullet and pay more ,but will always look for sales.
Than ks for the storey sassy.
Today i went to shoppers and got milk (seniors day for me)plus a few other items.Scotch brand tape was on clearance for 1.00 so i grabbed that .Darn it i forgot my eggs .Need to make a list next time.Last edited by coupon girl; Thu, Jun 5th, 2025 at 08:45 PM.

After a looooooooong work day and commute I shopped at NF.
Strawberries $2.94
Beyond Steak Bites $5.99 ( saved $4 per pack)
Silk Soy Milk $4.00
Protein Pasta $3.99
Vegetable Thin Crackers $2.00 cause I was starving after work!
I made a macaroni pasta with white beans and made a creamy hummus sauce, loads of garlic and a metric ton of the Swiss chard from my garden. Oh, and some fresh peas also from my garden and 1/2 package of steak bites.
Cheap, easy and fast. My 3 favourites for dinner

I still can't get over how much dirt keeps coming out! I just rinsed them again and changed the water to let them soak again!
My boys can all do laundry I just don't like them using my machine lol Also since I work from home it is easy for me to do a load during the day from start to finish so I just like to do it.

Good Morning and Happy Friday!!! The day looks ok so far!
I must have slept hard last night. Didn't hear anyone come in late last night. Didn't hear anyone leave for work this morning. I do feel well rested so that is a good thing.
Today- Work. Clean the kitchen. Pop out to grab a few groceries. Cook up ground beef and make taco meat. (Everyone will be happy to come home to that-haven't made it in awhile and it will be a surprise) Will chop/shred the veggies and cheese so everything is ready to make quick tacos/salad.
Will put away the laundry I washed and hung to dry yesterday. Perfect timing. Glad I made myself do itNow my fav yoga capris are ready for the weekend. I bought one new pair earlier this year and like them. Have a few from years ago that I love still that are in good condition- it helps that I never put them in the dryer. I have a drawer of summer "vacation" clothes- Cruise pants I like to call them. They just seem to flashy for everyday wear
Ok I need to get work done so I can kick off this weekend!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Good Morning Everyone,
Original plan for today was to sit at my laptop and not move until I knock out my to-do list I started my day with (I know things will get added so we are being realistic here) but well that did not happen.
I did not grocery shop yesterday and honestly, I did not feel like it today either so I was going to wait until after the weekend and then I remembered, I live in Cottage Country and it is now June so if I wait more than likely they won't have stock next week. Plus having the produce on hand that I can prep on the weekend is more likely to have it happen. I could tell myself I will do it after work but I have met me.
I also have a meeting at lunch time and I started at 6 am this morning so I took my lunch a little early and ran to No Frills, I got more than I planned but here is what I got:
4 x Sugar $2
1 x Earl Grey Tea $6.99
1 x Milk
3 x Sour Cream $2.50
1 x Vanilla Yogurt $2.99
1 x Mini Cucumbers $2
2 x Strawberries $1.94
1 x Cherry Tomato 681g $4.99
3 x Crackers $2
3 x Baggies $1.88
I needed to grab more crackers as ours are very expired and I wanted a snack plate the other day. To my shock the baggies were still on sale even though they were the May Hit of the Month and my store never had any but have them now.
Small win, I thought I was out of one of my supplements which has become so hard to find everyone used to sell it and multiple brands sold it but now only some stores sell it and they are only carry one brand, plus the price has shot up. Locally it is $23.99, Wal-Mart was $17.99 but RCSS was still $10.99 but I am not near one this week so I was going to go without. But, when I went to grab a new bottle of allergy pills I found a bottle in the back (where I swear I looked by hey, I got it now).

Popped out for some errands on my break. Topped up the gas tank- Save .10 cents L at Ultramar Friday's in June. Pumped $20.01 and paid $18. and change (can't remember)
Returned empties - $2.40
RCSS- Spend $21.95 on strawberries, a tray of BLSL thighs (wanted a chicken change!) and 2 x Ice cream drumsticks (PM WM $4.94 and used 2 x $2 coupons)
DS was already home when I got back and he said I bought the correct ice cream lol. He left extra early for work this morning so they were off early which was nice. His friends pulled up and they are off to play pickle ball.
I was confused this afternoon thinking it was Thursday!! Woohoo Friday! Looking forward to taco salad for dinner tonight. It is a perfect summer dinner when everything is ready.

I found cottage cheese on Flashfood for 50 cents. It’s typically 5.00 or more so I picked up 2. Best before is tomorrow but I don’t care. I will enjoy it past date with my blueberries. AfterImgot groceries I realized I had a cumulative spend offer that I missed by 30.00, PC coffee is 14.00 for me in my app so I will pick some up before Wednesday and it basically makes one free. I refuse to buy it at 20.00 a container.
My gardens are all planted and we have a weekend of rain so that should help everything grow.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Good Saturday morning! Thank goodness today’s my last day of work
. It’s HOT here and it makes everything harder to do.
I was beyond exhausted yesterday so Dh went to IGA and bought me a box of 4 So Delicious mocha fudge with almonds ice cream bars.
They were $7.49 for 4 . I’m totally ok with that. That is all.
Have a great weekend everyone

Good Morning Everyone,
Slow start to the morning here, kind of happened by mistake. I decided to enjoy my cup of tea before I started my day and got lost in the scrolling so a later start than I planned but that is what weekends are for.
We have some sandwich meat to use up so yesterday I grabbed a loaf of bread at the store as we like our sandwiches on Rye or Sourdough, I found one that is touch of sourdough and rye, I must say it is yummy. I had a sandwich on it yesterday and today I used it to make a Hard Boiled Egg Sandwich for Breakfast.
Thinking today will be a general tidy type of day, getting the basics done.
I still need to write a meal plan. Last night we made Homemade Pizza. Thinking I might do Wings for Mom tonight and I will have a Chicken Cesar Wrap for myself with homemade potato wedges on the side. Will make some extra Salad for Mom.
I forgot to go to the Sobey's yesterday to see if they have the Stacey's Pita chips, I normally buy them at Costco but they aren't carry them right now. They brought in a Canadian brand which I am all for except they are cooked in Coconut Oil which means Mom can't eat them so need to find the Stacey's ones. We use them as crouton in our Salads.
Happy Saturday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

ha ha @harbie I'm so sorry that I really laughed at you being just fine with the price of the 4 treats you enjoyed.
Been there myself as that So Delicious brand is always pricey. DH and I have a RULE about ice cream treats on a stick,
sandwiches or any ice cream really. ONLY if they're on sale......but the rule keeps getting broken!
On June 2nd I treated him to 2 boxes of PC Loads of Cinnamon Churro ( 4 in a box ) @ 2 for $10.00 + 2000 points.
because I know he loves that Churro dry cereal as a snack.
At this point we feel if the treats are cheaper than grabbing a single one at the corner store we've saved something! ha ha
It's hot enough that I flipped on the A/C once I got back home from shopping this morning.
