Lol, those were the days and based on coffee prices I may have to accept 20.00 is a sale because I saw a can of Tim’s at Foodland today for 32.00. Holy smokes.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Morning off to get another xray on my knees ,this time i am picking up my sister-in-law as she needs xrays also.It will save her a cab ride there and back as her son can only do so much when he works 50 hours a week.

I will bring her back for a coffee to my house as i am around the corner from the building. When you live alone it is hard, she misses my older brother who passed away 3 years ago.

After leaving the clinic from doing my 8 a.m. bloodwork I topped up the gas tank and went back home.
The original plan was to grab my EVOO with a raincheck from Metro but I talked myself out of that.
Once home I noticed we are almost out of milk so now back I go. Hope they have the EVOO in stock now.

    Happy update!

So glad I went back out for the milk and the EVOO. Metro did not have any sale milk BUT they had the EVOO. What a great savings these 1L bottle were.
Regular price was $22.99 EACH, I paid $9.99 for each. Also earned a hilarious 15 Moi points on a single .38 cent banana, and their bottled salad dressings
were only $1.99. Pet peeve: where has all the raspberry vinaigrette one's gone?
After that I made the choice to drive to FB and their 2L milk cartons were an even better price at $3.98. Same price for their 6 pack of muffins. Much cheaper
than NF prices now for muffins at $6.00.
I flipped on the A/C once I got back, just feels so hot in here?

Evening took my sister-in-law for xray and back to my house for a coffee.

Then i took her home and stopped at pharmasave as they had 25% customer appreciation day off reg price.
I got 2 ice packs for my knees 6.99-25%=5.24
cloth knee brace 18.99-25%=14.24 as the one i have needs washing quite a bit on hot days .

Plus a few other snack items if you spend over $20 i got bonus airmiles 50 i think it was .

    Happy Wednesday! We have sunshine!

Yesterday I had a work project I finished so today is an easy day. Woohoo! Will tidy my office up. Still have piles of junk that need moving out....today is the day!

The casino has been offering extra free play Monday-Thursday for the month of June. Was trying not to get caught up in that but figured since gas is much cheaper in that area and hopefully win a few bucks then it would be worth an outing. (and didn't make sense to go on the weekend for less free play) Went after work yesterday- Well- it was worth the drive! Did very very very well Topped up the gas tank on the way home. Didn't even eat there (so tired of the food/service at this one casino) Came home and had cheese and crackers for a late night snack...just didn't feel like anything for dinner.

Looked over the upcoming sale flyers. Not a huge list... lots of junk lol.. Watermelon for sure!!(NF $3.88)
Going to pop out to FB and FL today to grab more cheese and English muffins. Best price on both so stocking us up to keep us supplied (we all enjoy eggs on a toasted English muffin so I like to keep these on hand- and they freeze well!) My youngest will eat 3 at a time! Still cheaper lunch then going out! (when he is working close to home he will come home to make) When he is working away he is pretty good to make a lunch to take...or he comes home starving

Working on getting laundry done. Oldest DS asked if I could do his..... I like to help out so of course I said yes. Have one more load of his to do today (was soaking a white shirt for him and now it is ready to wash)

    Have a wonderful day!

Well getting up an hour earlier then normal (instead of laying in bed scrolling on my phone!) has paid off!

Getting so many things done and it is only after 11 now. Waiting to shower/dress till the laundry is finished.

Have chicken marinating in the fridge. Will make potato/onions and veggies to go with. And a salad since I bought a fresh head of romaine yesterday.
Love having a dinner plan. Since I will be away tomorrow night for dinner they can have leftovers.
