Were they European chocolates by chance?
Our german friends, put salt on there chocolate, on there bread and even on there ice cream!
I personally cant mix sweet with salty, its a weird combo for me.
I dont even like Nutella on bread. I can eat them both seperate but together to me it doesn't work.

Rogers Chocolate from Victoria is yummy! Now I want to go to the Bay(they sell Rogers chocolate) here in BC-Purdys is good also. I prefer dark but will not pass up any kind of chocolate. I enjoy the flavour of the chili with chocolate for hot cocoa. Now imagine ice cream balls (big round balls of vanilla wrapped in a mixture of crushed cornflakes, graham crackers melted butter and sugar) with hot drizzly melted chocolate all over!

Heard on the radio that the new hit food at the fairs (not around here) is piglickers.
What aare they you ask? Chocolate covered bacon!!!!
Now I love chocolate and I love bacon, not sure that I would want to try then together.
Has anyone here tried them?? If so what did you think of them?

must be good quality and fresh. i am willing to pay for the quality.
working in the mall when i was younger, i developed this bad bad habit of buying a few purdy's cream filled chocolates at lunch. oh, they were so dam good.
there are no pre-boxed chocolates that can compare.
oh, and chocolates are my favourite accompaniment to a nice hot cup of tea.In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts

Love dark chocolate - a little bite goes a long way and isn't
as sweet. I love chocolate bar is Kit Kat & Mounds dark. Every
once in awhile though I splurge in the gourmet shops for
good quality dark delicious calorie laden morsels.
Triple chocolate brownies, chocolate sauce over ice cream,
german chocolate cake, tortes, cookies, etc...
Love chocolate in almost any form - except Nutella & Mexican
mole sauce but I'll try just about anything "once" if it's chocolate.
My hubby says chocolate is part of healthy eating and in the
necessary food groups - chocolate comes from the cocoa bean and
the bean is a legume therefore a daily requirement! LOL'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'

I'm really not much of a chocolate person. Once in a while I will eat a Bounty bar or Cookies 'n Cream....the only kind of chocolate that I really love are the boxed kinds like Pot of Gold. And I hate sweet and salty...yuck. I can't stand peanut butter with chocolate because of that salty taste it gives.
