Sheesh, I missed a lot of questions.
Yes, to socks. The funkier the better.
Yes, to books but I am a HUGE reader. As in, I read 5 or 6 books a week. I don't read Sci_fi or romance but I do read horror, true crime, and teen books(if my buddy has a secondhand copy of the second book to the Hunger Games Series or The Gathering by kelly Armstrong, I would love it). I am hard to pick books for because, in our household, we have 5000+ books in our library.
Fast food: Tim Horton's.
Movies: Desperately seeking a copy(it can be VHS, I don't care) of the 1st Ferngully movie.
Cookbooks: Slowcooker, healthy, casseroles, Campbell's, or any of the checkstand ones like Bisquick, etc, cookies, or cupcakes!
I don't eat Freezies or ice cream but my kids do!

I had a great time.... however, when I'm nervous, I talk... A LOT! LOL I kinda ramble, actually... And I use humor to cover up that nervousness. So, we laughed a lot!! He picked me up right at my door, got me a Tim's tea right off the bat! We went to see 21 Jump St. (I should mention that it takes about 90 minutes to get to the closest movie theatre 'round here!) I didn't have to plan anything (and I'm usually the 'planner'), so it was nice to just sit back & relax and enjoy the company!! He was a total gentleman....
Geez, NO... My SDM points are like GOLD!

ohhh I have a tablet that accepts e-books but haven't bought any yet as I am still reading my books LOL maybe we can trade !!
aww you are so sweet.....<3
as for what to put into trains if you check the train sticky I have posted links to some trains past...and remember you can go to the canada post website and put in the weight and dimensions to find out how much the cost will be for shipping....one thing I hadn't factored in (but do now ) is the size/shape of your box matters..as it affects your shipping costs.......some boxes ppl stuffed them with paper to fill them ...you may find the postage doesn't change even if you add a few more items.....
kinda the same concept for when you are mailing an envelope and you know 8-10 reg coupons will mail for 1 reg stamp...it is a simmilar concept
I like books...am currently reading 2 LOL I have a great big canning book so don't need that ..I also have a gif card begging me to spend him at Chapters for my first e-book LOL
I am going to try canning stuff other than salsa this year (which the 24 jars I made before Xmas are gone LOL gave them all away...) psst I hate salsa LOL
I have netflix but I also buy/watch dvd's ...I am fine with gently loved/burnt dvd's
I have a docking station but rarely use it ..I love my I-Pod !!....hence my CD's haven't been touched for so long ! put them into my i-tunes library and now the actual cd's sit on the shelf !!.....hmmm I should get rid of them at my upcoming garage sale...
I made Turkey Lasagna for supper tomorrow....just a random thought LOL...
I was excited to win at the casino as since we had both speant less than $20 each we played for a bit but none of our winnings went back into the machine ! So today I bought a shirt and pants with some of my winnings plus bought my buddy a few things when I was shopping !!!Last edited by Jezebel; Sun, Apr 15th, 2012 at 11:03 PM.

MMMMM... turkey lasagna sounds delish. So does homemade salsa! I just polished off a jar that a friend of mine made. I made it from scratch once... and it rocked!!! SO much better than the store bought stuff! WTG on making your own, Jezebel!!!

I am currently not wearing glasses ....see i was on the list for a corneal transplant and was told last week my retina was detaching and was removed from the transplant list...I had made it to the top 10 on the list.....This was my reason for being upset last week .....The only good thing that came out of the appointment was I still passed my drivers eye test !....
