Thread: SDM optimum points calculation
-

I purchased a total of $444.88 before taxes on last Saturday. With 20X points reward, I got this:
Regular points: 4440
Store Bonus points: 84360
The total does not seem right. Even the cashier at SDM did think so. I was told by the cashier that I should get the following points:
Regular points: 4440
Store Bonus points: 88800 (4440 x 20)
Missing 4440 points.
Which calculation is correct?
I contacted SDM and was told the following formula:
1x of your regular point + 19x of your regular points.
That does not sound right either.

So zoro, what you were saying that the total points see below I got is correct? I still think that the calculation is still not right for 20X.
Regular points: 4440
Store Bonus points: 84360

Yes, Davidyuz, I agree with Zoro.
I also used to scratch my head when I saw the 7xthe airmiles calculation on the Safeway prescription purchases. So they give you one x first and then 6 x, to make up the total 7 times. Otherwise, it becomes 8 times - One original plus 7 bonus.
