Thread: Kraft Liv Active Cheeses

We tried it with the FPC and got the cheddar as we go through a lot of cheddar. Didn't particularly like it. It seems to have something mixed through it and doesn't taste right. Then my family came down sick the day after we got it, so I think that put people off it even more. I don't know what is suppose to be in the cheese/what they theoretically did, but it definitely ruined it.
We have tried the individual pre-packaged ones for our little one and they are quite nice and good size for a wee-one. We grabbed them when we were visiting out west and were taken to the Safeway to grab some stuff. I just about had a heart attack at prices and decided the Liv Active pre-packaged were a better price than baby bel, so she got to try it.

I did not like this cheese at all. My husband is a chef and he also thinks its very over processed tasting. It's horrible for cooking but ok for eating as is. It gave us stomach cramps. Thank God it was free.

other than the FPC, the best price I've seen is $3.57 for the marble cheese, with the $2 off coupon, that makes it $1.57.
between marble and medium, marble definitely tastes better.

I got the free samples with the coupon from save.ca and I only got the small individual snack ones. They were ok, but, I would not buy it if all things were equal.

I like this cheese (we buy the block of cheddar), but I don't like the price so I don't buy it often unless it's on sale somewhere and I also have a coupon! I love how there is the portion sizing shown on the package you can cut exactly the right size for 1 serving (makes me realize I really do usually overeat on cheese....)
