Your child’s hockey team has a new opportunity to be chosen to introduce Canada’s #1 hockey broadcast, CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada, to millions of hockey fans across the country.
To enter, submit a photo of your child’s hockey team with a story telling us why their team should be the next “Scotiabank Hockey Tonight Kids”.

Who can Enter?

Adults, Parents/Guardians, Coaches, Team Managers associated with Kids Minor Hockey teams can enter on behalf of the team. All house league teams (except rep and all star teams), ages 8-16 can enter.
Kids, talk with your team, parents and coach. Get your team together for a photo and have an adult (parent/guardian, coach, team manager) submit the photo and a story on behalf of the team.
What should be in your story?

Tell us about the team’s spirit, how hockey makes the team feel about themselves and community spirit.
Let us know why your team should be selected.
Some examples are:

1. The team’s passion for Hockey Night In Canada
2. The opportunity to represent/profile the team’s community
3. Great coaches, mentors and parents who give a lot of their time
4. Express the great values and principles the team has learned from hockey
5. Why it is fun to be on a hockey team?

What is the prize?

Winning teams will be featured on the pre-game show, Scotiabank Hockey Tonight, before introducing Canada’s #1 hockey broadcast, CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada, to millions of hockey fans across the country. Winning teams will be chosen across 14 weeks starting November15. Winning teams will be videotaped and photographed announcing Hockey Night in Canada at your local rink to appear on television and on this website.
