I am now a believer of this product. I am old-school when it comes to stain removal. Soaking in bleach, and washing. I've always been skeptical of what I see on the tv ads.

Yesterday I saw my sister-in-law use this product on her clothes. It did take away the stain. She accidentally left it at our house and I was glad she did. While taking a walk this morning with baby, I spilled some coffee on my white sweater. Went home right away and used tide to go. It took a little bit of scrubbing but all the stain spots disappeared. I think the faster you use it on a stain, the better.

With a baby in the house, this will be a lifesaver. The 10ml Tide to Go retails for $3.99 in the stores. There is a Tide to Go Mini, but I did not see it in the store. I now have one each in my diaper bags.

    ---------

    Details from the Tide.com website:

Wherever you go. Tide to Go.

Tide to Go is the instant stain remover that helps eliminate many fresh food and drink stains on the spot. Keep a Tide to Go in your briefcase, car, purse and kitchen — everywhere you encounter stains.

Tide to Go works well on the following stains:

It does not work well on ink, blood and greasy stains.

    To use Tide to Go:

    1. Remove excess residue from stain.

    2. Press the Tide to Go tip onto the stain several times to release some stain remover solution onto the stain.

    3. Rub tip gently across the stain to remove it. When necessary, add more liquid and continue rubbing gently.

    4. IMPORTANT: If treated area will be exposed to direct sunlight, wipe with a damp cloth or napkin to remove excess solution left on fabric.

FOR BEST RESULTS: Follow all four steps above.

For tough stains, place a paper towel under the stain while treating or wipe excess liquid or residue away with a damp paper towel.

For stains that do not come out, treat before washing. Tide to Go is not a pretreater; it is an on-the-go stain remover.

I find that it leaves a yellow spot on your clothes after you use it and it doesn't come out.

That's not good at all... was it light-colored clothing? I'm trying to decide if I should purchase some, but don't want spots on my clothes after using it.

well..i had a tide to go in my purse for a year, and i never take a purse anywhere..(i have my hubby why i need a purse?), but now that my coupons are mounting up, i am carrying my purse, which is really a small duffel bag according to my son..ooh look a kitty..sorry

anyway, i noticed i had dried mustard on my good sweater i wanted to wear, so i thought i'd try it, and it came out!!! dried mustard????

then i noticed i had just spilled spaghetti sauce on my shirt that was under my sweater.. it came out as well.

but for the amt i have to use, i think i should just wear a garbage bag overtop of me all the time.

No, it isn't just you. It does get stains out but that sour smell is digusting.

i, too was a little sceptical about TIde to Go

during the WE i was on a trip with DH and i made some stains ( iced cap) on my last clean shirt i had
    in my luggages
i used TIde to Go , several hours after...the stains were dry
and the stains desapeared like magic
back at home i wash my shirts and the one specific as well

it came out the washing machine spotless...not even a hint of where the stains were

this product is wonderfull and i would recommend it to everybody

for the convenience, the easy use, the fact that you can carry it everywhere and the good results....i would recommend it to everyone..and give it a 10/10

I've been meaning to try Tide to Go.

I'm glad we have this thread here and I love the comments. It's very helpful to know which product is a good purchase and which product is a waste of money. You can't just go by what the manufacturer says, for obvious reasons

I think so too. I don't use commercial detergents or stain removers personally (I make mine) , but I have friends who do so its good to know it does work.
