I decided to invite my better half for supper tonight since he's always so nice with me with all these nice little attentions (even after 22years together)....

A friend recommended the Mantra in Longueil since I wanted to bring him at an Indian restaurant (His favorite cuisine). Just in case, I googled for a coupon and TADAH!!! 10% off if you pay cash...

Love couponing. (I made sure to tell him that I picked this restaurant because it was recommended and found the coupon after)

I had a proud moment today...

A student in the lab I was working (before I decided to stay at home with my kids) is now at Harvard for his postdoc fellow.

Found this link article that shows possible substitutes for sour cream, depending on what you're making and what you are using.
Strained yogurt is a good substitute for baking.

You know this article is true because it was on the internet.

    Yes Patty!
Because I started this lab with my boss and that student at the very beginning of that lab.
Everything was to do and this student have work very hard and when he was not working in the lab, he was working at the store of his parent downtown.
    I'm very happy for him.

Someone here was looking for samples of Depends.
I was at my local Maxi & Cie (Papineau & Cremazie) today, and noticed near the pharmacy section a rack with a bunch of what appeared to be pkgs of samples like the ones I ordered from Depends. They had a sticker on them that said something like "Courtesy of Loblaws Provigo Maxi" The rack was to the side of the pharmacy, kinda hidden away near where the metal gate that closes off the pharmacy section gets pulled to the side of.
Anyways, all this to say, that if you are looking for Depends samples and happen to be at a Maxi, Loblaws or Provigo that has a pharmacy, ask the pharmacist if they have any free samples to give.

I hope y'all had fun at the meet-up.

When you find out what's wrong in this picture, don't tell, just "like" and laugh!
