correct its a brine of salt water that the pickles are left in to ferment for a period of time. It is then transfered to a refrigerator which "stops" the process. They are kept in the refrigerated section of stores.

They are the only kind i eat, i hate vinegar.

I was kinda thinking the same thing..get someone else to buy them for me! I looooove the regular pickles too much! hehe I've even been know to drink the juice.

You're not the only one. I don't do it as often as I used to though thats for sure. As I've gotten older my tastes have changed. I could eat a jar of pickles, juice included within days as a child now a jar usually lasts 6 months sometimes a bit longer.

Then again as a child the only cheese I liked was melted. Now recently I've been able to eat cut off chunks right from the block. Feta cheese? Oh man, to die for. Cheese cake? SIGN ME UP!

The funniest part is that I've had Chance (my cat/baby) since I was young, growing up and we've grown together and as my tastes have changed his have changed to mirror mine. When mommy has cheese you know he is there. His most fav recently is cheez whiz.
