Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are 13 years of age and older as of May 8, 2012, the First Semester start date, and who are not professional photographers, videographers, etc. All entrants under the age of majority in their province/territory of residence must have the prior permission of their parent or legal guardian to enter this contest.

There are three (3) contest periods, defined in these Rules and this Contest as semesters (“Semesters”).

The first Semester begins 9:00 a.m. ET on May 8, 2012 and closes 11:59 p.m. ET on June 17, 2012, the FIRST SEMESTER CLOSING DATE.

The second Semester begins 9:00 a.m. ET on July 4, 2012 and closes 11:59 p.m. ET on August 12, 2012, the SECOND SEMESTER CLOSING DATE.

The third Semester begins 9:00 a.m. ET on August 14, 2012 and closes 11:59 p.m. ET on September 30, 2012, the THIRD SEMESTER CLOSING DATE.

Entries limited to once per day per person. You may return to enter again on another day however, each entry must be different than any previously entered submissions.

You must submit a video depicting the specific assignment for that Semester. You do not need to use gum in your videos. It is your choice if you wish to use other materials provided that you comply with these rules (including those set out in Section 5 regarding the originality of your entry). You can also use computer-generated imagery animation (CGI) in your assignment. Videos must be no more than 90 seconds in length.

Only perform activities that are within your level of experience and physical skill, and wear protective gear and dispose of gum responsibly, otherwise your entry may be disqualified.

First Semester’s Assignment (May 8 – June 17):
MATH – Point A to Point B.
We want you to spit, toss, or launch your gum from one point to another, in the most ridiculous way possible.

Second Semester’s Assignment (July 4 – August 12):
PHYS-ED – Stretching with Stride.
Grab some Stride, chew ‘em up, stretch ‘em out and get creative.

Third Semester’s Assignment (August 14 – September 30):
DRAMA – Most dramatic chew.
Take a piece of Stride and give us an award-winning performance; you could chew really fast, chew like you’re mad, or even chew in character.

During each Semester’s voting period, people can vote by applying the following criteria: 1) Imaginative (Creative and innovative interpretation of the assignment), 2) Entertainment Value (Desire to watch it repeatedly), and 3) Ridiculousness (How well did the video capture that “Stride High” spirit and fit with the brand image?). The voter can then score the video from one to five stars, five being the best, but can only vote for each video once per Semester. At the end of each Semester’s voting period, the average number of stars received for each video will be tallied. All videos receiving an average of 3.5 stars and higher will move on to a round of judging.

There will be three (3) Grand Prizes available to be won, one Grand Prize per Semester. Each Grand Prize consists of $5000.
Total value of cash prizes is $15,000.

There will be nineteen (19) Random Draw prizes available to be won, one per each week of each Semester.

Each prize consists of your choice of one of the following prizes:

1) Gum for a Year - 16 boxes (12 packs per box) – ARV $325

Containing the following items:

• Stride High branded OGIO duffle bag
• Stride High branded fleece vest
• Stride High branded “Flavour It” water bottle
• Ram horns foam helmet
• Stride High branded mini mirror

Total approximate retail value of all Random Draw Prizes is $4940 - $6650.
