Here are some of the excerpts from Google Testimonials.

I have to tell you thank you! After 12 long years, I have been reunited with my first love via Google. If it were not for your company, I would not have found him so easily. He moved all the way to Germany, and I googled his name about a month ago. His boss has a website, and there is a tiny picture of him on it, with his name. If it was not for that, we would have never reconnected. Thank you over and over and over again! You guys rock! — Orlena C.

“Last year my daughter, who was a senior in high school, was afraid of failing her math final. I did a search on Google and came up with more than one method of explaining the formulas…She passed the final and ended up with a B in the class instead of a C. ” - Laura.

“After 34 years of not knowing who my father was, I typed his name into Google.com and found a link that I thought might help me. I sent an email to the link’s website contact who then forwarded my information to my father. Two days later, I received a 3-page email from the man who I thought might be my father – it was indeed him. He had also been looking for me for years, but to no avail. I just wanted to say thank you, as I now have the opportunity to meet my father, introduce him to his new grandson, and meet my two half-brothers and a half-sister. Mainly, I just wanted to say thank you.” - Terry.

“I just wanted to let you know that Google may well have saved my life. My sons and I were walking home from having eaten out. A half block from my house, I felt this pressure building in my chest. Immediately, I thought, ‘heart attack’ and ran through how I’d been feeling that the day (I had been nauseated). My first thought was, ‘confirm suspicions,’ and immediately, upon arriving home, I went to Google and typed in ‘heart attack.’ I kept thinking, ‘you only have minutes…’ I found a site that listed symptoms. Indeed, I was having a heart attack. I was at the Albany fire station within minutes. Five baby aspirin later, and a few squirts of nitro and I was in the ambulance on my way to the hospital. The good news is, I have no residual damage. My heart is back to normal. Thank you for providing the Google search engine. I’m sure my recovery was complete because of the speed within which I was able to get help.” - Ann.

“I’m a musician, and I’ve had my guitars for years. Recently, I had the misfortune of having my guitars stolen. The next morning, sad but not defeated, I began to hunt for them using Google. I was amazed to actually find them online! I alerted the police as soon as possible, and thanks to their help I’m going to get them back! Google helped me track them down. An amazing piece of technology and an wonderful story about the power of the Internet! Thank you Google for helping me save my guitars and getting them back!” - Rob.

“Recently I was installing the latest Outlook Exchange server patches on our corporate e-mail server. When it finished, the machine required a reboot. The machine came back up fine, but the e-mail database did not. I nearly collapsed thinking I had lost all of our corporate mail! (I had a backup from 2 days ago, but still would have been in huge trouble if I had to report 2 days’ worth of mail was gone.) Anyway, I entered the text of the error message from the screen into Google and within 2 or 3 links, I found the solution, and our mail server was back up before my co-workers were at work that morning. Thanks!” - Chris.

“I bought our miniature dachshund some new treats and instead of chewing them, he swallowed one whole and it got caught in his throat. He was choking and couldn’t breathe. My husband was on the computer and I called him in the room to help. We were unable to dislodge the treat and the dog was obviously in trouble. My husband told me to do a Google Search on choking dog. I ran to the computer, clicked on the Google icon, typed in ‘chocking dog’, got a return ‘Did you mean: “choking dog”‘ and I clicked on that to have the first selection be ‘How to perform the Heimlich maneuver on a dog’. After accessing that site, I read it to my husband who followed the directions. Poof! The treat shot across the room and our dog was saved! The dog was fine, we were a wreck and Google saved the day. Thank you Google!” - Jayte.

“As a court reporter, I’m constantly using the web to check spellings of drug names, doctors from far-away lands, names of ships – you name it. With your ‘did you mean’ spell-checking feature, I’m usually a mere one or two searches away from the word I’m seeking. I can’t tell you how many times a day I utter, ‘What did we do before Google?’ Thanks!” - Mike.

“Google helped me discover that my daughter’s strange medical problems are part of a rare genetic syndrome that most of her doctors had never heard of. Her doctors diagnosed her after I brought them the information, and my discovery helped her cardiologist diagnose another patient with the same syndrome. Because of my daughter’s new diagnosis, we have uncovered other dangerous but treatable problems that we wouldn’t have known about until they caused her serious damage. So, I’m very grateful to the people at Google who made all of this possible. Thank you.” - Abigail.

“You saved my paper! For the past couple of days I have been writing a paper on outbreeding depression in plant populations, but I lacked some critical evidence to help finish my paper. My college online journals were not much help. I gave Google a try, and found what I needed on the first page! I should put Google in my literature cited, but I might get a few grunts from my professor. Here’s to you Google.” - Ben.

“My brother emigrated to Brazil 22 years ago. Correspondence started sketchy and then fizzled out altogether. The last time any of my family heard from him was over 6 years ago. I have tried searching for his name on the Internet with no success - until last Saturday when I tried Google for the first time. And there he was on a ten pin bowling league in Brazil! And his email address. I immediately contacted him and since then a flurry of email has gone back and forth - loads of news and photographs. Thank you Google for bringing my family back together.” - Lesley.

“I am a quadriplegic, permanently confined to a wheelchair, and with a number of specialized medical problems. Using Google, I have been able to quickly find critical information about various medical conditions, experimental treatments and new products. My medical condition is vastly better off, and the information, services and products I found with Google have definitely saved me from at least two hospitalizations and one surgery, and possibly even saved my life. Most of the searches I did were coming up empty on other search engines, and there is little chance I would have found these things without Google. You have my heartfelt appreciation and boundless thanks! Where do I send donations?” - John.

Google created history with its search engine. Google word is synonymously used with search. Google has become a verb like xerox. The founder of Web, Tim Berners-Lee said that Google Algorithm is a significant development in the history of Internet which impressed him most.

:D That heart attack guy has issues. Remember people, if you think you have a heart attack, don't do research on google and then go to the local fire station. You pay for 911 every month for a reason.
