    good idea DH666

I have done some strawberry and some cherry to add in my granola this winter...
Today I have nothing in my dehydrator... I'm jalous of your and I'm thinking to buy and excalibur next season or build something bigger than my small round dehydrator.

Did I mention I was also making banana chips in the dehydrator? They were 39 cents a pound at Sammy Fruit so I go a lot.

Ontest, wow! What a pretty dish! How do you prepare it?

I spent 3 hours cycling early this afternoon while my younger son took his long board. I thought for sure I'd have to pedal really slow so he could keep up with me. It ended up that I had to pedal like crazy to keep up with him, lol. I can't balance just standing on one of those things; it's so cool how he just flies everywhere with it.

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful day we had.

Pool was full of 15 years old males today. DS had a blast. I feel really priviledged that he is popular even if he has special needs. One less thing to worry about.

They ate like "un essaim de sauterelles" (locusts?) and I kept them outside the whole day with the pool, football and food of course.

DD escaped really soon and went to pick straberries with her friends. You tempt me DH666 with your dehydrator...

remove pistil and stamen of daylily
add approx 1 big tea spoon of hummous on the daylily
add some daisy bud on top of hummous

I made hummous with my food processor
    1 can of chick peas
    1/3 cup tahini
    6 garlic scapes
    2 table spoon of cumin
1 table spoon of coarse salt
3-4 table spoon of lemon juice
2-3 table spoon of olive oil

pulse until texture is good, if need add some olive oil and/or lemon juice to help
Taste and rectified (cumin, garlic, lemon juice, salt) to get the taste balance you enjoy
Better to put 2h in fridge before using hummous.
