Found a 10,000 BTU portable air conditioner and a 10,000 BTU window air conditioner in the recycle bins this morning. Normally, I wouldn't drag stuff like this home but they looked new(and they said Energy Efficient) and I was betting on the fact that someone got central air and just didn't want to bother selling them!! The portable worked perfectly!! The other one, wouldn't turn on so I took a chance and called Fridgidaire(didn't think anyone would actually answer today) and got an amazing guy who helped me reset it! Works perfectly!! Our house was so hot. Our air conditioner, which was only two years old, stopped working and all I could afford to buy was a 5000BTU one(wish now I could take it back because we have only had it two days but H had already installed it). H moved the small to a bedroom and installed the other two. So cool in here. Best recycle bin score ever!
On to the shopping. Went to SDM. Needed to keep my OOP as low as possible so if there wasn't some good markdowns, I wasn't going to bother with the 18500 pts wus 75.00 event. There were a ton of great deals!!

It should work for you as long as the coupons you were using weren't FPC's!! Was your subtotal before coupons more than 75.00 before tax?

I'm very happy for your finding those air conditioners and getting them working. We were out at Canada Day Celebrations and it was SO HOT! It's so draining when you're hot! That's great!
Now - your shops - How spectacular! I didn't even try to get the 18,500 points because I didn't want to spend the $75 - I should take a few lessons from you!!!!

Great shopping, and super about the a/c.
My husband is trying AGAIN to fix the a/c he found a few years ago - had it working a few days last year, but it quit. So he's doing his magic again, hopefully!
