    Done!

    156

    Cereal: $12 = 100 AMs

    Old Dutch $20 = 50 AMs

So $32 on AM offers with 10% Off = $28.80 = 150 AMs = $15.75 (Added other items to get over $35 minimum).

    Effective Cost: $13.05

Now just to prove what a cheap Scotsman I am I also cashed in a number of FPCs on Coke products getting 10% off on the tax and enviro fees.

Too boot the Coke products come with iCoke points.

Unfortunately there were no FPC coupons on the cereal purchased. (I should have looked harder).

The item taking the total over $35 was discounted meat at 30% Off. The 10% took a further 7% off (10% of the 70%) the cost.

Great job!! I'm heading there this evening. I'm usually disappointed with bare shelves though so my fingers are crossed that I'll still be able to get something!!

Something I noticed yesterday but forgot about.

They have that candy special on B3G15 (and B5G30):

When ordering the BOGOs on Kellogg's they also had $2 coupons on Hershey's DROPs. (I have two so far)

Seems they are on sale for $3.49.

    After coupon they'd be $1.49/0.96/0.86

Seems reasonable for a brand product. Our Safeway is right next to an Empire Theatre so there's the goodies.

Well, the good news is Safeway still has cherries for $1.99/lb.

I blieve Thrifty's had them for $2.99 this week but I was just in and they're now $1.88/lb.

I always read the posts in here, though am not a huge AM collector.

So I'm stuck with a truckload of cereal, but no AM for them. Bought six - used the BOGO coupon for cornflakes, but the cashier didn't input the free box, nor punch in the coupon, just didn't charge for the box, so my register tape just shows five bought. gah!

Oh no! If this ever happens to you again make sure to take it back & make them ring you through again! The cashier did not use the correct procedure. All items must be scanned & then discounts taken off.
So sorry to hear you didn't get your AM!

Yes, go back to Customer Service and have them correct it.

    2 possibilities:

    1. Did you get the correct size? The coupons were for a specific size.

    2. Sometimes old stock on the shelves isn't coded for the airmiles offer.

I always check the bottom of my receipt and if it doesn't match I'm straight to CS to get it corrected with a "phantom refund-resale". It's better than having them put the miles in the book by hand.

I also watch the register display to make sure the coupons are credited.

Yes, the boxes were the correct sizes.

However, it was my son who did the shopping - and he was leary of going in case stuff was OOS, but it was all there. I don't expect him to be as vigilant as I am - since he's doing me a huge favour to do the shopping.

Thanks for the help; I just needed to vent...
