Ragnar Lothbrok - great show.

An Irish-Canadian co-production, Vikings was developed and produced by Octagon Films and Take 5 Productions.^[1] Michael Hirst, Morgan O'Sullivan, John Weber, Sherry Marsh, Alan Gasmer, James Flynn and Sheila Hockin are credited as executive producers.^[1] The first season's budget has been reported as U.S.$ 40 million.^[13]
The series began filming in July 2012 at Ashford Studios, a newly built studio facility in Ireland,^[14] chosen as a location for its tax advantages.^[13] On August 16, 2012, longship scenes were filmed at Luggala, in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains.^[15] 70 percent of the first season was filmed outdoors.^[13] Some additional background shots were done in Western Norway.

I have every episode... just don't go googling Ragnar Lothbrook if you don't know the story... it will mess up the series for you... yup he did exist... that makes it even better.

I watched the first season. Come on, a guy with viking in his nickname not watching a show about vikings? And the fact that I was born in Norway?

We have a real problem with urban deer here. There are 2 different herds going through our gardens all the time. It also brings the cougars in to town. When we first moved here they caught a cougar in the basement of the Empress hotel:

She is a momma with a tiny fawn she would not go too far from it. I stayed away from the baby even tho i really really wanted a pic. They always come very close to where we park so i just click off pics... we saw 5 this weekend.

Ragnar is certainly charismatic (except he doesn't have a very good ass) and an historically accurate series but this is the real Vikings theme:
