Thank you OperaBob for those fantastic links. I have always been a Marc Jordan fan (even though he married Amy Sky on me) & have his Mannequin album. Ian Thomas is great, Murray goes without saying & doesn't Cindy Church round it off so nicely.

One more song by them that contains some very sage advice. I don't remember it being a hit for Murray, but this version is better than his original one.



p.s. I had my son put Murray's Only The Silence Remains onto a cd for me. You see I still do not have an IPod, IPad or any of those devices. Soon though!!

I like whimiscal ballads & love songs that lament about pain,
Dancing in the high school gym to Colour Your World by Chicago,
Coronas & pina colodas as Jimmy Buffet's tunes take us to Key Largo,
You may hear Johnny singing oldies goldies be-bop-a-luba as it's the Walk of Life,
If you are a folkie, have a listen to 45 Years by Stan Rogers - for his wife,
ELO so sensual & they still have Strange Magic as far as I am concerned,
Neil Young would have earned a million airmiles as his albums kept my turntable turned!
I love how the Wilbury's travelled & made the End of the Line so appealing,
My, how Pink Floyd's Us and Them was deep & so revealing,
Roxanne shouldn't Stand So Close to others; you can even ask The Police,
& how many songs have been written & sung specifically all about peace,
The Beatles go without saying as the road really is long & winding,
& sorry AC-DC fans, but their songs are too high pitched & grinding,
