I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves fried chicken but who doesn't want all the fat associated with actually "frying" the chicken. The seasoning mix has just the right amount of kick and it's easy to use. Each box contains 2 packages of seasoning and 2 seasoning bags. Each package of seasoning was enough to coat 700 g of chicken. Yum!

Yes, I agree. It's the only Shake n Bake flavour I buy. I often use it to make chicken fingers.

It used to be our fave flavour when I used to buy Shake 'n Bake - a little spicey, but good.

But I make my own coating now, it's great, and can be adjusted for heat or not. Plus, it only costs pennies per meal!

Mmmmm, I love that kind! Sometimes I buy that, but other times I'll buy the extra crispy original kind and add some extra seasonings to it (mmm, cayenne!). Delish!

@marstec - I never thought about using it to make chicken fingers. That's a great idea. Thank you

Fan of the product for over a decade, but I wouldn't consider it as a substitute for frying.

Even with the extra crispy variety, it doesn't offer the crunch deep-frying presents. I guess nothing compares to fatty fat fat! I often use Shake n Bake on chicken breasts with skin on, then serve it on a bed of baby greens or baby spinach. The juices and oil from the chicken flavours the greens so you don't even need dressing.

I like this kind too. I usually add a cup of panko crumbs to the mix then coat boneless breast chunks with a spray of Pam just before baking. It always turns out crispy.
I am looking for quick trades for my pre-surgery stock up!

I've never tried any shake n bake. I want to but have never seen a sale for them and only have one $0.50 off coupon. Would love to trade for some more.

I love this kind as well. Usually I cut the fat off my chicken but this gives it that "oumph" without feeling guilty.
