What is with all these SPAMMERS posting "deals" in the Shopping and Deals Section?

I report them, they come back with some next username. UGH so annoying to scroll through this CRAP to find the threads I am looking for.

Sorry, had to vent. Seems like there are more then usual recently.

I've been reporting them and marking as expired like crazy!!!!

I'm hoping someone will be able to keep on top of this, cuz man, it's just silly!!

I agree, it is getting ridiculous now that Sally and Amberlab are both gone. If anyone knows of a good alternative couponing site, please PM me the info because I'm not sure how much longer I can take the chaos around here!

there are only 3 mods that deal with spam and we do like to sleep during the night ya kno,
which is when most of these spammers spam the forum,
When I wake up every morning thats one of the first things I do.
but then I go to my actual job, so I can't be on the forum all day, which is why there are other mods that help out too.

Everyone else needs to do their part. You must report these threads AND mark them as expired. This morning I reported at least seven spam posts on the main Deals section in the forum. Several from the same person. It's out of control. I get that the mods need to sleep but there need to be more mods in different time zones to cover this. I'm not sure if you guys are getting paid or not (I think this was Sally's actual job wasn't it?) but I'm sure there are lots of people on here who would volunteer to help with moderating if it meant less of this.

If you are reporting spam, its actually more work for the mods to check each one as they ban the member and delete all posts from the first report. So report 1 post with spam x several threads and expire on them all and the mods arent clicking 3-4 posts they have already taken care of, letting them read more reports. Not foolproof as other users may report the other ones but saves you waiting the minute between reports too

I totally agree with everyone here. I want to see early flyers and actual deals in stores, not your crap online. I feel sorry for the mods trying to keep up with all the garbage spammers post, it can get pretty crazy at times. Thanks for trying to restrain the madness
