I went to shop at Plattsburgh again!!!

Couponning in the States is sooo easy.

I ended up for free with 4 Italian breads, 2 Tostitos salsa, 2 Comet stainless steel, 8 packs of 10 Bic bold cristal colors ballpoints, 2 packs of 10 Papermate blue and red ballpoints and 2 scotch tapes.

I used my Advantage card from Price Chopper and coupons to save 56$ on my grocery and my OOP was 32$. For 4 full bags of eatibles, no cleaning supplies. It's amazing!

Since I live near the border, if I go when my gas tank is half full and fill it there, it doesn't cost me anything to go.

It's an entirely different thing now!!! I have to learn all these new coupon policy and reward cards that are way different than ours. Its fun and exciting. The thing that I don't like is that I didn't find any site like this one for the States.

And, of course, I don't know these people on other websites. I don't have room in my life for a second couponing group. This one fits me perfectly.

Usually it's only the small little grocery stores that are open.
Like my local Marché Tradition and EuroMarché.

DH bravely got dressed up & went to Metro to get Magic Powder since we were out (he wanted me to make waffles this morning). Phone rings, I was sure he couldn't find it in the store (despite having told him it was in the baking supplies in front of the soda), but no! "Store is closed, where do I go?" "Nowhere, all grocery stores will be closed if our tiny Metro is" So sweet, he really insisted twice to go somewhere else!

I substituted with baking soda & cream of tartar (have no idea how old it was...), and the waffle were good.
