I think it would be very helpful if you could make a sticky for trade standards, roughly. I know that traders can choose whatever they want but some times its kind of hard to evaluate. I mean how many stamps, sdm points, FPC, and regular coupons are worth.
To give someone a trade rating, click on the underlined number next to their trade rating, underneath their name. In my case, it would be 23, that means I have 23 trade ratings in total so far. See where it says join date, location, trade rating, cash back and so on? Then it will direct you to their trade ratings.
From there, click on "submit ratings for [person's name here]". Then on that page fill in the required fields, this being who you were (trade, conductor etc), your overall experience (positive, negative or neutral), and a short comment (ex your trade was awesome, fast, would trade again etc), then in the body text underneath you have to put in something for additional comments.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the tip ! I did it. :-)
why do people votes down? do they do it because they don't like the post i am just asking because someone gave me a a vote and my post says -1 down and i think if you don't like what i am asking for in my trade post there is no reason to do that
Great post. I am still getting to know SC so this trading thing is new to me as well as some of the terminology (e.g. B1G1). I just added my first trade & wish list to my profile :) Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Have a great day everyone.
I notice a lot of people give more trade ratings than are given. Everyone should give a trade rating once they receive the trade. And when the other person gets their side as well. It gives you piece of mind that the person got their end of the trade fine, since most people will not email you to say "thanks for the trade" the trade rating system does this for you.
I noticed today, and before too, but I thought I would bring it up today. If you go into your private messages, there is a underlined part that right at the top (before your messages) that reads "You have 27 confirmed and 4 unconfirmed private message receipts.".. it will be different for each person. When you click on that,it shows you your trade ratings that have/haven't been confirmed. What does it mean if it hasn't been confirmed? has the person not read it? For me, they go back as far as May. I checked and I have no trade ratings from these people, but I gave them trade ratings... I have messaged a couple of them hoping they would now, but they probably won't remember what I sent them.
In a person's trade ratings, you can click on the one that you wrote, it would be helpful to then see their rating for you underneath there, or if there isn't one, a message that you can trade this person. I think this would really help trade ratings useability on here.
I recently traded with someone who hadn't traded before, I just sent out her end last night, she didn't have much to trade with me, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, hopefully it goes well. We all have to start somewhere.
Ty :)
Hi! When trading CT money for coupon, do I trade dollar amount of the coups for the CT money? Or is there an equivalent value?
No it's not equal value... well it never has been when I've done it! However it's been awhile since I have and was wondering the same thing this morning.... I wonder what others think?!
Thanks for the tips. I am a newbee trying to save a buck by trading coupons I don't use for ones that I will. Hopefully I will save a bundle and so will my trade partners.
Happy shopping
Thanks for the info!
