My tub is awful with so much soap scum on it. I used Comet cleanser with bleach today and the only way I got rid of some of the scum was with a toothbrush. After that, I sprayed Vim Power cream bathroom cleaner, and wiped the tub and tiles with a damp cloth after a few minutes. Vim power had little effect. Vim power was on the list of approved cleaners on the BathFitter website. I don't know what to use next but can't bear to use a toothbrush and end up with sore fingers again.

I have one of the acrylic tub liners and I use the Scrubbing Bubbles spray. It does a great job.

I get a bucket of hot water, pour in some Mr. Clean and do my bathroom with that and a rag. I have a bath fitter tub and that works great. Nice and easy, and I hate cleaning.

I found a DIY cleaner on pinterest and it is equal parts vinegar and blue dawn dish soap in a spray bottle, honestly the best cleaner I have ever used!!! You just spray it on leave it for about an hour then wipe it away and rinse! My mom swears by it, and she has super hard water, I used it on my tub that I thought was unclean able as it was stained looking when we bought the house ( I have used everything to try and make it look nice ) and it is super sparkly clean now!

we were told NO scrubbing bubbles using it would void the warranty.. they did tell us good ole sunlight.. put some on a wet washcloth and wipe wall down.. then rinse.. then squeeguee.. and use a dry cloth to 'buff'. took my a minute to clean the walls. the tub well (its not theirs) thats another story. thinking i might use scrubbing bubbles in it alone. it works great.

I clean for a living. I use Fantastic original ( only the original, the others have a strong javex smell). It's a spray bottle and really is Fantastic! Spray it on and wipe down with water and a cloth. If you have iron stains the only thing that I find works is Mr. Clean magic erasers. They are awsome for iron stains, fogged up glass doors and soap scum. Lol, I never go anywhere without my magic eraser! I really should be a spokes person for that company! Good luck with your cleaning!

Baking soda & vinegar work great too. Just make a paste of it on a soft cloth or sponge.
Do onto others as you wish done to you.

baking soda, comet, vim etc. all will scratch the tub.
I have an antique tub that is badly worn and it is really hard to clean but I don't use abrasives on it because it will just make it worse over time. I found that the multipurpose pledge works well. It is very strong but gets at the soap scum pretty well.

I've always used dish soap and elbow grease. With acrylic, I find you have to stay on top of a cleaning schedule and not let it build up too much. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use the other side of the Scotch Brite and scratch the heck out of it!
