We bought Knorr Frozen Entrees Rosemary Chicken, Linguine & Cherry Tomatoes with a coupon when it was on sale at Food Basics. It was still a little pricey but it looked good quality so we decided to test it out. Let me be blunt on my overall review: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Now here's the kicker- it tastes quite good! :icon_scratch: Why then would I tell you not to buy it? Well first off- my boyfriend brought me the ENTIRE package worth in a Ziploc Sandwich container (tupperware). Thats right, 2 servings would not overflow a cereal bowl. Do the math on how much it costs to buy 2 bags to feel a family of 2! :omg:
For my second complaint I'm going to use the Chicken alla Vodka & Farfalle for my math. What are we adding up you may ask? Soduim content.
1 sandwich sized container of Chicken alla Vodka & Farfalle ia 106% of your recomended sodium intake. YUCK! If I wanted that much salt I'd go to Mcdonalds and get something that didn't have lots of healthy looking ingredients in it. I don't want them hidden in something I thought was good for me! Shrimp, Asparagus & Penne? 108%
I'm sorry but the thought of that makes me sick to my stomach. I don't care how many servings of veggies it has if it has more than an entire day's worth of salt. It can never ever be considered good for you at this rate.
Of course, the package does not say 108% of your daily serving... but it also neglects to tell you that you should be eating your 1 serving out of a martini glass.:cocktail:
So there you have it- good taste, bad product.
