I got coupons!!!! I love getting mail and I love couponing and I love that couponing means more mail and more mail means more coupons! LMAO

Did you know that companies who send you sign-up forms (eg. credit cards), don't pay for the return envelope unless it's sent back to them? Maybe send it back to them with a coupon! Support the postal service!

Hehe... I've done it for years - I keep the part that has our name/address on it to shred, but then I put back all the junk pages they have sent, plus the envelope they sent it in, and mail it back in the provided envie.
Some people I know put in other papers and junk, but I just return their own stuff!

The Welcome Wagon lady came to our house on Monday. She gave us a lot of freebies and coupons to local businesses. We went around town today and redeemed for the following items.
1x FPC $20 onesie (Frank's on Fourth)
1x baby clippers, magnifying ruler, and AAA powered flashlight (pharmacy)
2x can of pears, tuna, soup, spaghetti, cake mix, jello, juice crystals, plastic wrap (care package from CO-OP)
2x 1lb Italian meatballs (M&M Meats)

We also received

$10 to No Frills
$10 to Shoppers Mall
FPC Sobeys salad dressing + square noodles
Tim Horton's coffee sample
CO-OP can of coffee

$10 oil change or car cleaning

I think that is just about everything that was in the package. Most of the coupons do not have expiration dates. I was pleasantly surprised. This was for the new baby and new to the community packages.

Angela, that's an awesome haul! When we moved to Saskatoon, I was so disappointed in the Welcome Wagon goodies - the only thing I remember was a 1L bottle of Culligan water!
