    drove to Mississauga to visit my new favourite butcher shop.

    picked up some shish tawook to grill on the bbq. i think i will also pick up some naan. i really don't feel like prepping anything today!

    well i made super yummy beef stew tonight and hubby pissed and moaned and griped about me serving him crap.

    serves me right for thinking i didn't need to make 2 completely different meals because he's so picky, and i don't like what he likes.

    Peking duck! One of my favourite things to chow down on.
    It's a specially BBQ'd duck, with crispy caramelized skin, juicy meat that's sliced thinly at the table.
    As you can see above, it's eaten on a slightly sweet flour wrap with a touch of hoisin sauce, cucumbers, green onions and carrots!


    Steamed lobster. Mmm. There were other dishes, but I was busy pigging out. Oink!



    Chestnut cake for dessert. Yummy!
