Next week's best offer looks so far to be a B3G20 on Oatmeal Crisp Cereal 3.33/2.63 as far as my biased opinion of what constitutes value.

Better to buy TP this week though.

Also, I got that $20 Safeway GC on the Old El Paso offer a couple of weeks ago. Some of you might recall before that one there was a B4G$15 GC on Dare Crackers offer.

Well, I forgot to mail it in on time. Left it sitting on my desk. Thought, "What the heck" and mailed it in anyway to see what would happen.

Got a letter today.

"Sorry, too late. However, here's 2 FPCs up to 400g."

That's double the size of the packages for the offer so in the end I basically got em for free.

Lesson learned:

Mail in the offers, even if past date.

I got my GC's for the Dare as well as just recently the Old El Paso. It was a great promo and was glad I was among the 750 people(I think that was the amount offered. Something ridiculously small though). Its nice that Safeway has dependable MIR type promos.

I doubt I'd ever buy $200 at Safeway. Mind you it might be worth asking for as many rain checks as possible for things you'd actually use.

Just an FYI.All the Mini-wheats cereal I bought last week for the AM's and gas cards were recalled. Spent a long time on the phone this morning with Kelloggs. 15 boxes worth for me. She said they would send me replacement coupons for the boxes and to throw the product out that I have now.
So if anyone else stocked up on Min-wheats for the Airmiles promo check out the recall. The link is on the front page of the blog here on SC.
