All of this talk will come to naught if Shoppers doesn't know that you are dissatisfied with their....coupon policy, lack of communication, seesawing on points/bonuses etc. Post your issues on FB and we'll see if anything positive will get done about it all. I'm off to check my account now that I'm freaking out.

The stories I am hearing about SDM are practically discrimination. Ugh!

I'm glad your card got reinstated Sharkie, but I'm sorry this all happened. I also have a love/hate relationship with SDM.

Worth a try, but I have heard (just from reading other SC'ers threads) that the FB page is pretty much useless, and that information on there is often incorrect, or just useless, I guess they use a lot of "We'll look into this issue... Bla Bla Bla..." nonesense. So frustrating!

the way SDM keeps pulling crap like this really makes me feel that it is a badly run company.

It seems SDM is a bunch of confused idiots running a big corporation...You would think that before they put a promo out they would first set the limits and rules...No not SDM and as soon as they think people get to good a deal they change it.....I have never seen any other rewards card being run the way SDM's program is run.....Sure there are people who will abuse it but at the end of the day if they do not put limits then they are to blame....to say to someone if you pay full price we have no problem giving you your bonus points is ridiculous....And as far as their Facebook page goes, it is a joke.....I would really love to oraganize a protest outside their head office and show them just how many people there are that they treat like crap.....

Sorry about your experience. If they are advertising the bonus points on Nivea, then it should be granted. If you have coupons this is not money out of their pocket. There was also no limit on the quantities you bought. I can't understand how they can take back points or suspend your card. It's like they are treating customers like criminals when all you are doing is being a smart consumer. I am more and more reluctant to shop there.

I was on the SDM page and the are reading the comments and have posted on their they are. I encourage all of you to move to their facebook page and start commenting on the hUGGIES thread that is going there. I ran through about 50 comments so far a lot of the stuff here is not there, so please do it. That page is open to the public and much more visible to their membership - might have some impact.

I popped into SDM this morning because I was contemplating doing a redemption - I'm still waiting till December 1st for the mega, though. Anyway, I found some of the $3 off coupons and then I found the soap bars, they are the $2.29 ones, right? So I read the coupon and the only things I thought would be issues were the lack of a photo of the soap bar, the overage, and the exclusions. The soap is measured in grams, not milliliters so none of the exclusions included grams. I went up with 6 bars and 6 coupons as well as 2 bottles of water. The cashier was also a supervisor and the first thing she said was the item wasn't in the picture so I showed her where the soap is actually from the same line. Then she said it was $2.29 and she couldn't give $3 off and I said I knew that and that she was just to deduct $2.29 and that's what she did. I figure 6 items was reasonable so hopefully I won't get any grief from head office.
